Good morning Mike, it was a very wet and windy night here, but the sky was clear in the early hours.
Another easy day today, I have to complete my online shopping list ready for delivery on Saturday, just the fresh veg to buy next week for Christmas.
Presents are wrapped, just the baking to do and the cakes to ice, also to be done next week.
Carpenter still here but again working under cover. I’ve managed to tune out the sounds of his electric equipment, but the doors rattle a bit when he hammers the wood.
Some problems with the bathroom should be sorted today as a chap will be arriving sometime. Minor problems but they want to present us with the bill and that won’t happen until it’s all done.

Hope the poorlies amongst us are feeling a bit better today.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from s somerset, maybe a pop of sun later but also rain and chilly

Yesterday was busy, I went from one job to another and by lunchtime my car was gleaming inside and outside. It took longer than expected to find the bonnet catch but tbf I last opened it two years ago. I wanted to top up my screen wash

Today I have washing to put away, thank goodness for the tumble drier. I am on top of routine housekeeping so just feel like pottering today. I am thinking of making cranks dark ginger nuts this afternoon and I still have a sewing room to sort, perhaps a hill walk while it is dry outside

Have a good day
