Have you heard of it?

I'd absolutely love to try it.

That looks like fun! Do they land in the water or is there a special landing pad? 🤔

MissAdventure Mon 30-Dec-24 16:07:53

There's a platform so the passengers can get off.
That's the women.

I saw it some years ago in Turkey. If I was a lot younger I probably would 😁

MissAdventure Mon 30-Dec-24 17:29:32

If I was a lot slimmer I might.
I saw a woman about my size have a go - she stepped off the platform, onto his arms, and they sank. blush

MissA,…… “and they sank” grin grin

Watched it last year when I was running an art holiday at Herne Bay, looks amazing

That looks fun - although I’d worry the young man wouldn’t be able to hang on to me once we were high up 😂

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-25 11:53:06

It does look like a safe way of "flying".

There is a young woman who flips in and out of the water like a dolphin, then soars up into the air.

Grannybags Wed 01-Jan-25 11:56:52

I’ve always wanted to be able to fly

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-25 11:58:31

Do you ever have flying dreams?
Mine are usually a little bit menacing, as if I'm trying to get away from someone.

Oh that made me splutter - that would be me! Looks like a lot of fun for the 'well proportioned', strong and fit (young) folks though!

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-25 12:11:21

Yes, in my imagination I'd love flying around in someone's arms.
I think I may be too cowardly in real life, though.

Mollygo Wed 01-Jan-25 12:15:34

I’d love to do it-but heights aren’t my thing. I’m more the Segway or electric scooter type.

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-25 12:18:48

I'm scared of heights, too.

Those segway falls, though. Ouch!! Right on the coccyx!! (Sp)

Father Christmas asked my granddaughter what she would like for Christmas and she said she wanted to be able to fly. My grandson said he wanted to be taller!

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-25 12:21:40

Tricky pair. smile
I bet that made Father Christmas scratch his head.

Witzend Wed 01-Jan-25 12:25:56

Crumbs, I think I’d run a mile! Parasailing was scary enough, and I only did that because dds were calling me chicken for not wanting to.
I’m not even up to water-skiing any more, and I used to love that.

MissAdventure Wed 01-Jan-25 12:37:51

You were a bit of a daredevil!! shock

Grannybags Wed 01-Jan-25 14:16:57

I didn't dream of flying but often stepped off the top of the stairs and gently floated to the bottom!

Indigo8 Wed 01-Jan-25 16:21:36

I am not actually acrophobic but I have never been good with heights so I would have hated to do it and even watching would make me anxious at any age.

I am sure though, if you are OK with soaring up in the air to a great height, it is great fun.

Whilst waiting for them to fix my ferry to IOW I saw these at the boat show next door, looked like tremendous fun

I suffer from Ménière’s disease so that might not work for me, could be in bed for a month with vertigo and vomiting.
Wish I could do it though.

If I did have a load of health problems I would love to try that it looks so much fun.
