Meghan’s launching a new lifestyle show on Netflix.

I won’t be watching as we don’t have Netflix.

The cake she was putting the finishing touches to looked delicious.

Two wrongs don’t make a right though.

Where did I say they did? I repeat, I'm not condoning lying, just pointing out that there are worse things to be. Is there really nothing worse than a liar? How about a paedophile or a murderer, for instance?

Anniebach Sat 04-Jan-25 12:52:33

It does for some. Lies cause much harm but no matter could be
worse !

Liars have caused innocent people to be hanged, Liars are dangerous people, you disagree

No, I'm not disagreeing at all. I'm not condoning lying. I'm just saying that there are worse things to be - such as a paedophile, for instance...

Not to the victims of their lies MissInterpreted.

Yes Smileless she lies, fact, I so dislike liars

Smileless2012 Sat 04-Jan-25 12:09:47

And to attack her husband's family Annie.

She is piggybacking on the new huge trend in the States for Tradwives.. women staying at home but looking super glamorous whilst looking after their families.. ref Hannah Neeleman Ballerina Farm

I cannot think of anything kind to say of someone who campaigns against social media, who is filmed hugging parents
whose children took their lives because of harm caused by social media and then uses social media to promote herself

Anniebach Sat 04-Jan-25 11:16:28

There is much humour in the beach video

BlueBelle

Why shouldn’t she Goid luck to her

Hear, hear. BlueBelle. I wish people who stop picking on them.
It's just so unnecessary & cruel. 🤔

Emma hasn't had all the free publicity that Meghan seems to be getting.

She's taken over the prime spot from Gavin and Stacey.

Anniebach Sat 04-Jan-25 11:02:02

Perhaps who thought of it had seen Emma’s kitchen ,

Grammaretto Sat 04-Jan-25 10:43:22

It's a tv programme, that's all. Yet another based around cooking. Given that we all eat, they'll never go out of fashion.
I would love to have been a fly on the wall when the programme makers approached Meghan to tempt her to do it.
She doesn't look like someone who is particularly interested in food 😅🤣😂

Princess of Wales promoted World Bee Day

Ah!

Her sister-in-law must have been listening and took note 😀

.... My reply to Grammaretto.

That's good then. Nigella engenders a feeling of community in her approach to cooking, and I think Meghan comes from that starting point too. I agree that Meghan probably can be fun and humorous, but she'd better be careful about being too flirty or kittenish like Nigella, or the press will accuse her of trying to attract sexual attention! 😆

ferry23 Sat 04-Jan-25 08:20:10

Eventually, they won't be that relevant here - it took me until half way though page 1 to cotton on who the Meghan is mentioned in the thread title.

I saw it and thought "Meghan who?"

Grammaretto Sat 04-Jan-25 06:25:05

Meghan is modelling herself on Nigella, obviously.
Nigella has never described herself as a trained chef but preferred the flirtatious, family fun approach rather than real cooking.
She hasn't done too badly so maybe Megs won't either.

Nigella's brownie recipe is yummy abd very expensive.

Anniebach Sat 04-Jan-25 05:21:37

Not nasty, just different standards of acceptable behaviour

Bea65 Sat 04-Jan-25 01:06:04

Well I’ll watch and maybe post review after … some of the nasty stuff posted here is juvenile and mean girl behaviour IMO -
says more about ‘your’ character …

Smacks of desperation but if Beckham’s son can do it why shouldn’t she?

What? He's cooking?

One of Brooklyn's creations was an egg, bacon and sausage sandwich - with ketchup
