Meghan’s launching a new lifestyle show on Netflix.

I won’t be watching as we don’t have Netflix.

The cake she was putting the finishing touches to looked delicious.

There is always a warm response to the late Queen.

She is suppose to be cooking for friends

If you want to be allowed to provide the public with food you need to have an appropriate food hygiene rating from your local council, or be shut down. Hair should be tied back amongst other regulations. It is not true to say no one cares about hair anymore. It’s just that on these kind of programmes they like their stars to appear glamorous.

BP didn't comment, but GNs did on two separate threads about QE2's puppy! Back in 2021 I think. FannyC probably started them!

I only mentioned Meghan's dog today as he was in the clip being discussed here a few days' back, and I was sorry to hear he had died. That's all. Simple.

Anniebach Wed 08-Jan-25 21:27:35

Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the story of a puppy

Sorry RosiesMaw, I should have said the late Queen. I think it was a corgi puppy called Fergus?

Ahem, yet you're happy to have a 2 page thread when the Queen's puppy died!
I'm not M's greatest fan, but if it helps her to talk about her loss, as many grans want to on here, I'm ok with that.

I don’t think Beth was a puppy. Camilla got her from Battersea in 2011.

Allira Wed 08-Jan-25 18:54:35

I suppose he may have died of old age as he was a rescue dog when Meghan got him 10 years ago.

I think they have three dogs, perhaps Guy is the most placid, being older.

Oh no, poor doggy has just died.
I 100% know how M feels. 😥
I have cried too many tears to count - the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they're not there. But they are. And that's okay too. 🐕

Oh dear.

I know how she feels 😥
We never forget them 🐶

Anniebach Wed 08-Jan-25 17:50:28

True merlotgran my thoughts are with the bereaved parents
she hugged , in front of the cameras, and spoke of the darkness of social media

eazybee Wed 08-Jan-25 17:49:31

I am sorry for anyone whose pet has died.

I simply don't want column inches wasted on it.

merlotgran Wed 08-Jan-25 17:45:05

The dead dog video offered another opportunity for a clip of Meghan making jam. 🤔

Cynical, moi??

He's the one that the Supervet fixed so he could walk again. He looks like he had a happy life running on the beaches.

Louella12 Wed 08-Jan-25 17:31:12

I think he's died in the last few days .

Just awful to lose a much loved dog.

I've always thought Meghan could do worse than making a Netflix documentary about rescue dogs.

She obviously loves dogs so that might be a good venture for her

escaped Wed 08-Jan-25 17:23:04

Aw, no idea. I just saw it today.

Lathyrus3 Wed 08-Jan-25 17:21:33

I think he died a few months ago, didn’t he - in the Summer?

I asked Chef for a mint leaf in my ice cream to elevate it,
he said it’s not April 1st

Allira Sun 05-Jan-25 11:19:16

No, I think Mary took note.

Of course, there are hygiene rules and ratings for commercial kitchens. The TV cooks are pretending to be - or are - cooking at home, just like us 😁

Anniebach Sun 05-Jan-25 11:13:44

I speak of 9 people , caps on head, no nail varnish, no rings, no dangly jewellery around the neck

Allira Sun 05-Jan-25 11:09:21

Anniebach

Nail varnish is certainly not allowed in the kitchen where I live snd head covered

Even Mary Berry got criticised for wearing nail varnish!

Indeed - there's a hell of a lot of judging goes on on GN, even among those who love to quote scripture at the rest of us!

Judging people is a natural human/ animal condition. It’s there to help us survive and thrive.

Thought the bible says 'judge not, lest ye be judged'?

She is not my cup of tea. I think if you are doing a cooking show tie your hair up . All looks very staged and false, but I don't think I am the sort of person this programme is aimed at.
