To get a date for the surgery I’m waiting for, having had it cancelled for the third time.

I’ve just got my date for March for THR … Have been waiting years ..so understand how you are feeling…don’t want to jinx it 🌻

Someone to help me to stop being such a hypochondriac.

A hot bath. My flat has only a shower room and while I love a hot shower, I can't wallow in it!

Pain killers that actually kill pain.

(sorry I am feeling extremely sorry for myself, which is unusual for me even with injuries or illness)

They’re hard to come by GG. I’m on Pregabalin at the moment but I can only take a low dose because of unacceptable side effects. That’s the problem, anything that actually reduces pain seems to have unacceptable side effects.

Bea I got my rearranged date yesterday, it’s 19th February. Hopefully it won’t be cancelled again. I hope your’s goes to plan too 🤞

My wish is to be able to sleep during the night, when we're meant to sleep!! I have tried using Nytol but I don't feel it gives a restful sleep (more like a drugged sleep) so I've started taking Magnesium Glycinate. I have had a couple of nights of 'reasonable' sleep but this afternoon, after a morning of teaching tai chi and then shopping, I fell asleep for nearly two hours! So much for a good night's sleep tonight!

Having my husband back fit and healthy. It's the 21st anniversary of his death. He was 47.

My wish tonight would be for the NHS to sort itself out and provide patients with what they need.

My husband is now 10 weeks in hospital following a severe stroke. I have never known him so low. He has been in a Stroke Rehab Unit for 6 of those weeks and we were told he would get loads more therapy than the main hospital could provide. This is not the case!

Some days he sits 9 hours in a wheelchair doing nothing. Another day he might get half an hour’s physio or speech therapy. Weekends they get nothing at all. He has now insisted on coming home as soon as equipment can be delivered and carers organised because he cannot bear it any longer. 😢

Whiff that's so hard, I know. We never forget. It's over 30 years since my DH was killed in a road accident and he's still in my thoughts every day flowers
