Good luck Bellas. These examinations are horrid aren’t they? I hope they are gentle and kind 🤞🤞🤞

Good morning from a still wet Bristol. I hope it dries as I’ve got a busy day.
I hope this latest storm, Hermine, isn’t affecting you too much.
My eye is doing well, thank you MD, just one more night with the eye shield. New glasses soon too!
I had a lovely occurrence yesterday. I was taking my seat in church when a young woman came flying up and gave me a huge hug. After reciprocating, I asked what caused this, she said that she was feeling happy! It gave me a warm feeling all day.
Didn’t do much for the rest of the day - a bit of this, a bit of that…
I need to go to town for various things including a new kettle. Philip’s kettle is sadly leaking; another little daily memory of him going.
My neighbour will also take me to Tesco, as well as the OAP film this afternoon. Not sure I’ll go though as the film is baseball based and very American.
Have a peaceful week. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from Malta where it’s still dark but we expect a high of 21°C later.

I’m off to look after littlest who has a fever so he’s missing nursery today.

I have a gynaecologist appointment this afternoon which I’m absolutely dreading.😫

Wishing you all a good day. ☀️
