Good morning all from the Scottish Borders where it's 4°C and dry so far.

The plasterer is due today to finish off some smaller patching jobs
around the house.

The tree surgeon is also coming to make 2 trees safe.
DS has to leave today . I have so enjoyed his company. We went to the cinema to see the Bob Dylan film yesterday. A trip down memory lane for me. We had an Indian carry-out later.

Whiff that class sounds perfect.
I hope you enjoy the new recliner Mick
Karmalady how satisfying to create a garment from scratch.

I am gradually getting back to normal after my hip replacement but I still find sleep elusive.

Hoping everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone it’s very cold , windy and dark here on the east coast of Fife. I’ve had the dreaded norovirus twice these last couple of weeks and it’s not very nice. Through the eye of a needle comes to mind if you know what I mean. 🤢 hopefully I’m on the mend now.

Have a good day, smile smile, smile😁😁😁good days are coming (for me at least)

Good morning from soggy s somerset, windy with rain all day today, again

Another indoor day again today, I went to the plot to do a very quick job yesterday and the wind was strong up there. I joined the water butts to the downpipes again, it does not feel as though there will be much of a frost this winter, so they might as well fill up. I may do the same to the house butts. It takes days of intense frost to freeze the water inside and I will get enough warning

My jumper is finished, weighs 590g and is pure soft home -spun corriedale, today I will make a hat and neck covering with the leftovers. The whole lot only cost me £35, it has been a job worth doing as well as the sheer year-round pleasure of spinning and knitting. I get the tops (fluff) from a local mill in Devon

Today I will finish the accessories and slowly start to spin another jumper weight, to knit next winter, I may use a vintage wheel from my herd, she is a steady old lady

Have a good day

Good morning from a now dry Bristol. Weather not too promising today, though we are moving from 7C to 8C!

I had a frustrating morning trying to get a pale yellow fabric for my quilt; plenty of other pastels but not yellow or lime green. Not a lot of luck online either.

My neighbour agreed to push back the Tesco visit - with “permission “ from her friend who I don’t like. She asked me which “town” I had gone to so briefly as “London was very far”, snobbish thing.

I was successful at Lidl which also had sun dried tomatoes, which have been missing for months. Yay!

The afternoon was full of pottering - I didn’t go to the monthly OAP film show and missed the two huge squalls just at the times I would have come and gone.

Today, I’m going to the solicitors with DD and SiL to sign my PoA. This has been another legal saga taking over a year. The last chambers I dealt with “forgot to tell me that the man I had been dealing with no longer worked for them”. Probate for DH has been going on for longer in the hands of solicitors, leave the government offices… grrr

I have a PCC meeting this evening and also need to bake for the FAB cafe tomorrow and coffee on Saturday.

May all your difficulties ease today. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from a dark Malta where another fine day is expected with a high of 20°C.

Well done for getting your recliner ordered, Mick, something to look forward to.

Yesterday’s gynae appointment wasn’t fun but it’s over thank goodness! I agree with Marydoll these things are more of an ordeal as we get older, I never bothered about it in my younger days.

I’m off to look after littlest again today. He was really unwell yesterday, just wanted to be cuddled, bless him. He slept for a good three hours which I always feel is the best medicine.

I’m hoping his brother doesn’t catch this nasty virus, I’m not sure how I’d cope with two poorly littlies.

I better be off, I’ve got another stinking cold, slept badly again and hope I can buck up a bit.

Wishing a good day to all and apologies for missing birthdays yesterday, hope they were happy ones.☀️

Haven't looked out the window yet. But it's cold .
Is you reclining chair electric Michael and has all the bells and whistles?

Must be a gluten for punishment. Went to sit fit yesterday afternoon it was circuit training which is always fun . This morning going to a new class move it or lose it . The lady running it came to our sit fit class last week to see what we did. She was a physiotherapist so will be in safe hands. Any way it's in the church where I go for sit fit just round the corner from where I live . Plus the cafe will be open so may have a treat afterwards see how I feel.
