Yes. I've seen a couple more - not huge, thankfully, but rather large for the season. I'm wondering if they get confused by all the radiation that's around these days.
And Gwyllt it's called a PHOBIA, that's why its hard to understand. It makes no sense to the logical mind and if it isn't your phobia, then you will not understand it logically. Those of us who are afraid (as I am, of the huge, warp-speed type) usually try not to kill them. I have a spider-hoover that pulls them harmlessly into a tube, but unfortunately the huge ones are often too strong and could end up, it seems to me, running up the tube on the attack! I do find conkers in the rooms work, however, old wives' tale though some people say it is.
