Good morning, it’s dry here in south Glos so hopefully it’ll stay that way today because i washed and treated my waterproof coats yesterday afternoon and hung then out to dry - they were still so wet last night that I left them outside as the forecast seemed ok. It’s the first chance to do this I’ve had!
I had a really long walk yesterday morning, 5.5 miles 😄, to the village to post a parcel then a big loop around across the fields and through the woods home. The dog fell asleep when we got home for several hours!
It’s the longest walk I have done for several years so really pleased with myself, I didn’t even feel tired. I’m determined to get fitter and lose some weight 😊. I do so love being outside too.
Today it’s housework, grocery delivery, washing etc - may even hang it outside for the first time this year if it’s breezy again 👏; I do love the smell of line-dried washing.
Then I might go and sit in my summerhouse and enjoy watching the birds on the feeders.
Wishing you all a peaceful day 🌹

Good morning from s somerset, the sun may well be out today

Sending good vibes and thoughts to FGT and her DH

A bit of tidying and some outside plot time yesterday, suddenly my kitchen looks neat. I hope I can keep it tidy but I doubt it

Indoors today as I have 3 deliveries, I may be able to snatch a walk early on, depends on timings

Have a good day

Ps. Hope all went well for FGT2 DH yesterday, and that the wait isn’t too hard. 🫂

Good morning from a dry Bristol. Boy, it’s been chilly out here with the easterly breeze! A teeny bit of sun yesterday. We are promised loads today, but still cold until tomorrow.

Sad for you Ash to see olddudders off back to France after such a nice long time together.

I went to Waitrose yesterday morning, had my shopping checked. It seems my turn every time I go there, which is irritating.

I did various bits of admin, a bit of sewing, etc., in the morning.
WI innth3 afternoon. The talk was by a chap running a company called “Goats in the gorge”, not a wildlife talk at all. He told us how he built his business up, making soap, then various other cosmetics from goats milk. He’s even been on Dragon’s Den. I bought a cake of soap costing a fortune!

Today is technically empty. I shall be doing a lot of baking for the FAB cafe tomorrow and Saturday coffee which I’m serving.

I was surprised to be asked to bake for a Dementia fair next month. I accepted.

Have a good day. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩

PS. Safe travels to olddudders🚢

Good morning from Malta where it is just getting light. We are promised a sunny day with a high of 20°C.

Had a busy day with the boys yesterday but they were good as gold and I got them to nursery on time both as happy as could be.

In the afternoon my old a/c unit was removed and a lovely new one installed which involved a lot of work and mess but I shall be so glad of it once the summer sets in, last year was a struggle without it.

I’m off to the boys in a bit, just got to hang out some washing. The dog was sick on the rug so I have that and his blankets in the machine which will then need serious dog hair removal. He’s such a lot of work.

This afternoon I have booked an eye test as my glasses have had a huge scratch across the lens since I crash landed on my head in Poland. More expense! I’m tempted to try ordering online glasses but don’t know how reliable they would be for varifocals. The price of glasses here is ridiculous.

Wishing a good day to all.☀️

Good morning everyone from a cool and dark north Wales coast where I’m all exited 🫠 for our gallivant to Hurghada, a new-to-us destination!

I know Liberty is in Cadiz and LLFL is off down under (poor GG incapacitated 🥲 and confined to barracks else she’d be off too) with Bonnybanko in the Canaries we’re flying the GM flag far and wide!

I hope those of you with health worries at home have good news whilst we’re away (I include Mr PG in that list - he insists he’s on the mend and perfectly fit to travel and I admit the antibiotics seem to have worked their magic🤞)

I leave others to the stunning photography (you’ll not want to see my thumbs, lovely as they are…) and hope WiFi is up to scratch so I can keep up with your bizzinesses x

Good morning from a less cold but windy Torbay.

Early TIB as DH is travelling back to France today so I’ll be driving him to Newton Abbot to catch the train to Paddington.
We’ve just had nine weeks together which has been good.

All the best to everyone especially those with health worries and thinking of FGT and her DH. 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩
