Two other regular posters I recall no longer post - I can’t think of her name, but she was a very busy lady with a factory and she also did care work of some kind.

I sometimes wonder if Big Louis has taken steps to end her suffering? I remember that she mentioned a few times that she had the means, if necessary, because she did not wish to go into a care home. A formidable lady.

Thinking of our absent friends, they are missed. 💐

I too miss GSM, she was very wise and generous with her advice, hope she is ok. Hopefully she will come back eventually, we love our regular's don't we?

I've just noticed that the Holiday Reads thread that was started by Lucca has been bumped by spam, which I've reported.

Does anyone know if Lucca is OK? I know she was very ill. Another fond memory.

I hope MissA is on the mend and can post again.

I too send her good wishes. We emailed recently and she told me her news. I got to know her when I answered a query about adopting a dog when you were older. I sent a picture of my first dog that I got at 70. I had waned a dog all my life but circumstances prevented it. She sent a pm to say it was her late daughter’s dog. I was able to keep her and I was able to keep the family informed of how she was doing .
