Body Spray

After the Rain made by a small company on The Isle of Arran is very light and fresh.

I don't know if you can get hold of Fragonard perfumes easily in the UK . They were available at department stores last time I looked. They are officially a lower-mid-market type perfume but their floral sprays are so light that I use them as body sprays all the time. They don't linger long on the skin but the scent sticks to your clothes, nightclothes etc.
I use Rose and Orange Flower.

Lily of the Valley body spray smells gorgeous, the scent lingers for ages.
My local Tesco sells it and I presume Boots stores also

Soap and glory body spray is nice and lingers Boots have a good range.

I have used for decades "Clarins Eau Dyamisante" lovely fresh smell. Not over powering especially as I have worked in the NHS all my career and wore it to work.
Worth a sniff.

Many people have adverse sensitivities or even allergies.
This could include staff in close proximity who may be leaning over you.

Oh Kupari45, I think you might befuddle the male Doctor's if you were to use Opium perfume!!!
It is such a strong & sexy fragrance, rather too much for a hospital ward?
Maybe a fresh, light body spray/deodorant.
It can get a bit fuggy & hot in those wards. Good luck anyway.😄

I was going to mention that but didn’t want to appear insensitive. Perfume gives me a headache. Am I right in thinking that it’s banned in public places in some countries; Canada perhaps. I do like the fresh smell of 4711 cologne, though, if they still sell that.

Just use a deodorant 😊 and take wipes to wash with

If you find a light spray that doesn't linger on the skin, I don't see it would be any more problematic than the fabric conditioner scents from patients' own nightclothes.
I can see it would make you feel fresher & give you a little lift to take a body spray in, & boosting your mood can make a real difference to your recovery time.

it always amazes me when someone asks for a suggestion or seeks an opinion that some of you feel the need to lecture or jump on them. Half the time you havent read the posters question correctly.

I like the light flowery sprays by Yardley, rose, lily of the valley or lavender. Very light.

Yardley make nice fresh flowery sprays .
I also like Marks and Sparks beautiful floral scents .

It's a treat when people smell nice.

If money is no object the new Chanel perfume Chanel is a light citrus .
I certainly think that it would not be unpleasant on a ward .
My father wanted colognes to spray all over him .
No one complained .

I like the lush body sprays but they’re quite strong. The Yardley ones mentioned earlier are fresh and light.

Yardley make a solid lavender roll on,very light to put on pulse points and not being a spray doesn’t linger in the air.

Silly me - I didn't say - the light grapefruit fragrance is called Chance by Chanel .
It is fantastic and reminds me of one by Guerlain .

When I've been in hospital, written on the instruction leaflet has been a section asking me not to use sprays or scents of any kind, in fact just to have a shower beforehand. I'd check the hospital instructions.

The Impulse body sprays are nice. I think mine was only £1 in Savers or somewhere.
