A boring day thread

Aveline perhaps you could send a photo. My back is hurting, no idea why, so if I saw your hair it would take my mind off my back.

Am back from the hairdresser's and look like a startled spaniel. Very odd horizontal ringlets. One good thing is that every time DH looks at me he bursts out laughing which takes his mind off his bad back.

I bought an Easter egg for my son which I was going to take to him. He has come down with some horrible infection so will stay away.
I have sent him a different egg and will now have to eat his original egg myself.
Life can be so tough at times 😄

You’re lucky to have enough hair to comment on! Mine is so fine and pathetic, I almost wish I belonged to a religion that needs me to keep my head covered. (Aside….I suddenly wondered if I have upset anyone of one of those religions. Hope not, but you just can’t make any comments these days without someone having a hissy fit. I would never deliberately upset anyone).
I have always had trouble with my hair, even though I go to the salon every five days! If I didn’t I would be in a sorry state.

Did you know there is a shortage of canned Pilchards? We import 60% of ours from Morocco and there has been a lack of them to fish.

Is that because sardines have been over-fished?

Been to the Garden Centre. Bought seeds and plants.

Made DP an omelette for brekkie, a rare occurrence.Hung some washing out in the yard and chased off a neighbour’s cat that was hanging about under the bird feeders.
That’s it.

Still contemplating the grass, but first, must go to the shops for food for the weekend.

I've just listened to a pod cast about dogs. Story set in Nice (France) lots of sniffing under tails. Actually turned into a very sweet story..
Now sitting contemplating cutting the grass as rain hasn't obliged. Only contemplating, you understand!

Another day without hot water or heating. This is day 5.

One sided horizontal hair is my problem.

I spend 20 minutes every morning stopping mine from being horizontal.

I gave up trying to make my hair horizontal.

I'm going for one of my usual comedy hairdos today. I always come back with a horizontal looking head of polyester hair. I don't know how she does it. I've been going to her for years and can't really believe anybody could be any better. At least it always gives the family a laugh

I've had the most wonderfully boring lazy day housesitting for DD. I took the dog for a short walk n fed the guinipigs some chopped carrot which they loved. I was taken to see a Daniel Craig movie and saw him in a totally different role to James Bond!

Sorry, disqualified. Much too interesting and enjoyable.

Yes.

Now I've had a dream about a stray gosling.

The person I was with, could have been a grandchild, put it in their cardigan pocket (not that my DGC would ever wear a cardigan with pockets!) then the rest of the dream was spent worrying about what to feed this stray gosling where to keep it, birdcage or box with straw, and whether it would survive.
