A boring day thread

Just think - lovely clean sheets to climb into 🙂

Made a mistake with my crochet this evening but managed to rescue it without undoing too much.

I realised on Tues evening, that for weds, thurs and fri, I had 2 days work to do in 3.
Great! I have been smelling the roses, so to speak.

Took the dog for a run before it got too hot. We discussed voting, went to vote.
Planned dinner.
Filling in time with jigsaw and GN until it’s cool enough to take the dog for another run.

Restaurant?!! I typed rest. My phone added the rest of it.

Mass was lovely in a spring dress not a winter dress.

Boring contentment in the garden today. Busy, busy as DD is coming for tea and DSiL for lunch on Friday so by Friday evening I’ll be bored with rushing around keeping the place ship shape.

I've been pretty idle today, a lot of time spent in the garden enjoying this wonderful weather, I'm struggling to work out whether time such as this amounts to a boringly perfect day or a perfectly boring day. A conundrum such as this requires more thought and little else, in the hope I eventually work it out.

I'm bored.
Trying to clean and change beds. Bored with my slow progress.

I thought I was going to have a mundane sort of a day, but then a screw fell off the car exhaust on the way home from shopping. It suddenly all got rather busy!

I was thinking when driving around out and about today, dont think there will be many posts on here today.

I had an exciting day on Saturday which has made today feel more dull than usual.
Washing is drying and I've had my usual walk. What next? There are dishes to wash. Can't wait ......

My laundry made yesterday boring, but putting away day beats that for being boring.

A laundry day today.

Bedding, towels, clothes, winter jumpers - again. I washed all the jumpers ready to put away then the weather turned cold again. This time they are going away.

Bored already.

Paperwork today.
I seem to spend days immersed in the stuff.

The variation is, what order to do things in!

I just saw the sun! It hasn't graced me with a morning visit for ages. It's gone now though.

Aldi this morning.
Got to be done.

Playing catch-up after hanging washing on the line. Congratulations to crosstitchfan on the birth of your great-grandson (I have one of those too, 16 months old, but lives too far away for me to see very often) and on your eyesight. Other issues must be a worry, but keep on keeping on and get lots of cuddles from your g-g.

Not all days are usually the same but have been in bed the last three days as have had an infection akd felt really unwell. Feel a bit better today so will get up and try and do a few things.

When you say ....I live in a nursing home, each day the same, do you mean all of the activities are the same?
Do you have any choice , such as sitting in the garden,watching TV, doing some knitting etc?
Perhaps there are benefits, such as not having to do cooking, washing,ironing and general cleaning? It does mean you have people to talk to.

Use my grapefruit knife for deseeding peppers.
No real grapefruits in the house since we went onto statins😡

I nearly binned mine as no longer of any use but I'll retrieve if from the back of the drawer and use for peppers 🙂
