Passwords!

I’m so frustrated trying to change passwords. I was suddenly getting lots of spam emails, mainly security warnings, so I decided to change my email password. I did this on my laptop first- no problem. Then on my phone and ipad, but though I can receive emails on those devices, I can’t send them.
I decided to go through the whole process again. I have now changed my email password on my laptop, but my phone refuses my new password! Says it is not strong enough. Just going round in circles now! My patience is running out.

As a side issue, my ipad informed me at one point that my mobile phone number was deactivated! I think that’s sorted now, but once something goes wrong, it gets worse before it gets better. I like to think I am not stupid, but it makes me wonder!

I agree passwords are so annoying- and pretty pointless as they can be changed all the time.

As for spam there should be a unsubcribe link on the bottom of the e-mail. Just click and unsubscribe and the spam will be much less. I did it weeks ago and its made a big difference. No need to change passwords.

It is not advised to click on unsubscribe to dubious emails. Ok for genuine companies whose products you no longer want, but not for phishing sites as it lets them know you are real and using that address.

Maybe I don't get dubious e-mails? I don't remember having problems with any I've clicked on and my spam has definately reduced a lot. That's a result for me...
