What will you be doing tomorrow

Lizzies Thu 24-Apr-25 14:30:16

Sadly I am going to a funeral of a former colleague. She was younger than me.

Curlywhirly Thu 24-Apr-25 14:33:27

Shopping in the morning, dentist at lunchtime and then picking up 1 year old granddaughter from nursery and keeping her overnight whilst her Mum and Dad have a night away for DDILs birthday.

keepingquiet Thu 24-Apr-25 14:39:26

Going to stay with my daughter and family for a couple of days.

Aldom Thu 24-Apr-25 14:39:50

Tomorrow it is the Art's Society lecture. After the lecture several of us go to our local museum for a light lunch and catch up. smile

Not knocking it - but an odd thread. What are you up to tomorrow Acegik?
Perhaps read the GM thread and you’ll see what others do to fill their days.

Aldom Thu 24-Apr-25 15:10:46

Not at all odd. Just a quietly fun thread for those of us who choose not to use the GM thread. Not knocking GM thread either. smile

I'm going to the Newark Garden Show. Not looking for anything in particular but we both enjoy looking and learning about plants.

Aveline Thu 24-Apr-25 15:34:34

Big day out for us tomorrow. It's DH's birthday so we're going out to our favourite Chinese restaurant for lunch followed by a trail of art galleries and antique shops. Lovely!

Norah Thu 24-Apr-25 15:37:37

Today and tomorrow - tidy the back garden.

HelterSkelter1 Thu 24-Apr-25 15:43:31

Me too in the back garden. We have 2 large horsechestnuts and the blossom is dropping. So the first of many sweeps. There is a lot of blossom this year so there will be tons of conkers to sweep up this autumn. Not looking forward to that. I need some Boy Scouts bob a jobbing if they still do it. I expect they couldn't now...health and safety and risk of falling conkers on heads!

Visiting Pisa and Lucca ( well, you did ask!)

Ilovecheese Thu 24-Apr-25 15:50:52

Quilt show at Uttoxeter

MiniMoon Thu 24-Apr-25 15:51:52

Tomorrow is being looked forward to in this house. We are having fibre to the property installed. The engineers came on Tuesday and did the external work. I can't wait to watch an entire programme on iplayer or 4 without buffering.
I love technology.

Katyj Thu 24-Apr-25 15:53:25

Going for a mammogram at 1pm, then packing , we’re setting off on the train Saturday morning, to London to watch our son in the marathon.

Greenfinch Thu 24-Apr-25 15:54:16

Visiting local town to go to the bank and try out a new tapas restaurant

JackyB Thu 24-Apr-25 15:58:31

Defrosting the freezer. It's full but it's been showing -29° to -30° since I did a huge batch cook a couple of weeks before Easter. I think I overloaded it with stuff to freeze.

So I'm running it right down and hoping it will come to its senses. If not, we'll have to get a new one - it is over 30 years old after all.

Aldom Thu 24-Apr-25 16:44:28

Enjoy Pisa and Lucca Kate. Will you go to Florence too? I was only talking about these places this morning, over coffee with a friend. I loved my time there.

Allira Thu 24-Apr-25 17:01:55

Who knows what tomorrow brings?
The road is long, there are mountains in our way
But we climb a step every day

Hope it goes well whatever tomorrow brings

Sago Thu 24-Apr-25 17:07:32

We are still temporarily homeless so going to Harrogate for the day, our holiday let is approximately 12 miles away so it is a short drive.
Back home to try a new recipe for supper and perhaps an evening walk.

It’s odd not having a house and garden to clean……far too much time to shop!

Allira Thu 24-Apr-25 17:11:23

Would you like to stay with us in return for cleaning?
And gardening if you're missing it.
😁

Kate54 Thu 24-Apr-25 17:33:02

Aldom yes been in Florence all day today, only 50 years after my first visit. Siena last stop

Cossy Thu 24-Apr-25 17:38:46
