What will you be doing tomorrow

JackyB Fri 25-Apr-25 18:12:21

I did my freezer out. I think having mentioned it in this thread meant that I was committed and felt I had to get on with it. So now I'm committing myself to a laundry day tomorrow. A lot has accumulated over Easter!

Cabbie21 Fri 25-Apr-25 17:25:07

Tomorrow I hope to do a Bluebell Walk, then pack for a short break. Looks like I’ll have to dig out some lighter clothes.

CBBL Fri 25-Apr-25 16:51:14

I’m collecting yet more medication (to reduce blood pressure), then going to morning service at Church. After the Service, hopefully completing the cleaning I started this morning.
Shopping for more cat food, then home for lunch.
Finally, if the weather forecast is correct - mowing the lawn!

PamelaJ1 Fri 25-Apr-25 16:44:58

It’s tomorrow now and I have had a blood test this morning, off to a meeting in a few mins. Not very exciting at all… but yesterday I went to see the Tulips near Sandringham. They are grown by the people who grew them for the prequel to Wicked.
The tulips were beautiful, all in aid of our local Hospice.

I will be doing much the same as today, with added steam trains!

MrB has been taking me for a daily trundle in my wheelchair after lunch. Tomorrow the steam railway museum will be running a historic engine so we will try to take some photos of it while we are out 😎

Thanks for coming back Acegik. Now that you have been successful posting again, hopefully you’ll contribute to other threads,

Gwenisgreat1 Fri 25-Apr-25 16:35:59

Have just returned from the Harrogater Flower show and am absolutely knackered - tomorrow hopefully I will recover!

mrswoo Fri 25-Apr-25 16:35:09

Thank you for posting Acegik I found it a really enjoyable and interesting thread even though I read it today which was "tomorrow" yesterday! (If you see what I mean!)hmm

Acegik Fri 25-Apr-25 16:25:41

Yes everyone it was odd.
I've been trying to post for ages, without success, so thought I would try and again, but had no inspiration.
Murphy's law for it to work this time.Nevertheless thank you everyone who contributed to my accidental post.

Georgesgran Fri 25-Apr-25 16:25:41

I asked the same question of the OP, but it looks as if he or she hasn’t returned with any comments.

MiniMoon

Tomorrow is being looked forward to in this house. We are having fibre to the property installed. The engineers came on Tuesday and did the external work. I can't wait to watch an entire programme on iplayer or 4 without buffering.
I love technology.

‘Im so sorry MiniMoon, I misunderstood at first and thought it must be some sort of fibre insulation, sorry I’ve caught up now! My broadband is down I can’t get through to EE again since the first report I made. it’s all automated of course after the initial call, but the fault is logged and they want to send an engineer at a time when I’m not in and I was asked if I’m over 18 and is it my account (AFTER they wanted my date of birth and account number)before speaking to me
otherwise they can’t come at that time which is suitable to them and not me. it’s been off all week - I’m so envious. Enjoy !

We do not know whether or not we will be here tomorrow. Carpe diem.

True, but there's no harm in making plans 🙂

GrammarGrandma Fri 25-Apr-25 16:01:49

That is now today. I have made two lasagnes (one vegetarian and GF) for tomorrow night's dinner, when there will be six of us. Also a vat of broccoli and cambozola soup for Sunday. Dashed out to Boots to make a couple more photo prints, then collected white carnations, eucalyptus and ruscus from the florists. These are for my 80th birthday party table centres on Sunday (birthday was on Easter Sunday, which is hopeless for get-togethers). Then did a bit of gardening - how everything makes twigs! Just have to finish the photoboards - my Eras tour - and maybe tackle the filing, which is out of control in my study. Tomorrow I must make stuffed peaches for pudding and put out towels. Beds are already made up. So much planning and preparation that I hope Sunday will all go smoothly. Thank goodness it's catered but there still seem to have been a lot of jobs to do.

TheWeirdoAgain1 Fri 25-Apr-25 14:36:59

As of Saturday the 26th I'll be off work for an entire week, cozied up in a B&B in Whitby!

Bellanonna Fri 25-Apr-25 14:08:58

Ziggy that sounds horrible. What an awful reaction. Hope it gets better soon.

As a lover of ceremony I shall watch The Funeral. Nothing else planned. I have a list of to-do things but I’m a professional procrastinator and the list just gets longer.

Seems I have no choice about having an easy day! I thought I felt something bite me in the garden yesterday. Had difficult night, very red and itchy, legs and arms covered in large hives. Have taken antihistamine and applied aloe vera cream. Not feeling great

Of course they are - but they sometime turn out not to be genuine and the OP was rather stark.

Visiting Pisa and Lucca ( well, you did ask!)

How lovely !
I'm in work

Redhead56 Thu 24-Apr-25 23:12:33

I will be taking our dog out for a long walk in the woods and meadow. While waiting for two deliveries I plan making bagels and banana cake for the weekend.
Later I will be potting up some veg plants grown in cold frame and maybe go the local shops for last minute essentials.

4xGranny Thu 24-Apr-25 22:33:36

Tesco delivery at 11am. Then two grandchildren (10&7) coming round while Mum (DIL) has to deliver a revision lesson at her school. We’ll take them out for lunch.
A relaxing afternoon with my jigsaw and Book Club book.

Ziggy62 Thu 24-Apr-25 22:25:47

I've been working really hard in the garden since last weekend and although I love gardening I'm now feeling quite sore, so promised myself an easy day tomorrow (probably won't happen lol)

Allira Thu 24-Apr-25 22:15:28

Tomorrow, 25th April, is Anzac Day, aka as Gallipoli Day in the UK.

A national day of Remembrance in Australia, New Zealand and Tonga where dawn services will be held to remember those lost in conflicts.

Some services in the UK will be held at 11 am although other services will be held at dawn in the UK too.

Going to the Lake District for a week’s r&r. Leaving behind all my baby plants and hoping they’ll still be thriving on my return! Looking forward to it.
