I’ve have two emails today from different venues inviting me to book tickets now for Christmas to avoid disappointment.

I’m off for therapy now! 😁

I don’t think we do it this early but we do book months in advance with friends and their teenagers to do the same Christmas outing together every year. It’s become a bit of a tradition the children have known each other since they were babies and are close friends.

I do love Christmas and am looking forward to it more than usual this year as extensive building work was being done at home last Dec and Christmas was adapted and curtailed from our usual over the top standard, big plans for 2025 but even we don’t start planning yet.

I have an email about booking Christmas lights 🙈 No not yet .. …

I had an email today about the booking now being open for the Christmas sound and lights trail at a National Trust property.
We'd booked it last year but it was cancelled because of a storm, so we're keen to go again.

We're all booked for this year! 🎄 🤞

I`ve spent the last 2 Christmasses in hospital, I wonder what this year will bring?

That's one way to avoid it, Hello.

I hope you know me well enough to know I'm joking. I hope you get a better one this year.

Aw I’m sure there just trying to drum up business. I know I save with park Christmas as I always have and that final payment is usually October. And that comes around so quickly!

Are these folk wishing their lives away?

kittylester Sat 26-Apr-25 10:14:34

My choir sing at Street Markets, Spring Fairs etc. Apparently we have been booked for the village lights switch on already. - and OktoberFest in the next village.

Now that hot cross buns and Easter eggs are being sold off or even given away, I expect to see mince pies on the supermarket shelves any time now.
