Christmas 2025!

Oh Grannybags, just reading your post makes me want to lie down in a darkened room!

Don't know about Christmas. But I have a biggie birthday in June 2026 and am making arrangements and bookings for that now. Not sure if I will make it through to them, but as I am paying most of the costs for it, family can still go on it and celebrate even if I am not with them!!!!

The National Trust emailed me yesterday with an invitation to book a Christmas trip to Stourhead.

We still have Easter eggs in the house!

Come, come Georgesgran your sprouts will be a tad overcooked, I always follow the late lamented Victoria Wood’s advice and don’t put mine on until August.

Now that hot cross buns and Easter eggs are being sold off or even given away, I expect to see mince pies on the supermarket shelves any time now.

My choir sing at Street Markets, Spring Fairs etc. Apparently we have been booked for the village lights switch on already. - and OktoberFest in the next village.

Aw I’m sure there just trying to drum up business. I know I save with park Christmas as I always have and that final payment is usually October. And that comes around so quickly!
