Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle.
Yesterday was hot, we reached 22°C. I was out in the garden in the morning, tending to my runner beans which I have put in large pots this year in the hopes that the slugs will be easier to control. They decimated the beans last year. I have the greatest respect for their indestructible qualities having once found one clambering over a prickly cactus in a former greenhouse.
I went out in the afternoon too but soon had enough, it became really warm and sultry and clouds gathered. I didn't think it would rain though and it didn't so it will probably be out with the hose today.
My morning will be spent on the weekly chores, the vacuuming, bed changing and laundry etc. My afternoon, in the garden? More plants to hack into the ground still.
Best wishes to all those coping with medical matters, I hope all goes well for you all.
