Good morning from a grey Bristol. Just grey all day, but we had fairly heavy showers for about an hour in the late afternoon yesterday.
I had a quiet day yesterday, spent the afternoon hand sewing the quilt which will be finished this week.
Tesco this morning and an empty this afternoon.
Good luck 🍀 to the FGTs today, and to GMB for her operation, to MD for a better day, and to all those with troubles.

Good morning from Malta where another warm day is forecast with a high of 26°C.

Thank you for the good wishes yesterday, I had a lovely Mother’s Day with the family. We went to a local restaurant which also has a small farm ( the boys love to see the animals). They make their own cheeses amongst other things so lunch was delicious.

DD2 and DGD FaceTimed from the softball field where DGD had a match and I had a message from DD1 so all in all a lovely weekend feeling the love of my family.

Today littlest goes into hospital, all being well his surgery will be tomorrow, so I will be looking after brother and taking him to nursery later.

Thinking of the FGT’s, Grandmabatty and Marydoll and hoping all goes well.

Good morning from s somerset, thunderstorms warning today but I doubt it will happen

A glorious day yesterday, I am glad I went out on my bike and even managed to get up the very steep hill past the windmill, power assisted of course but still hard. The most wide-ranging and glorious views of somerset on the way back, I am feeling very lucky to live here

My ebay bargain new homedics massager seat came before I left, I unboxed it during the afternoon, it is immensely heavy and I used it, was wonderful. My residual hip/lower back ache completely vanished, cycling plus shiatsu did it. I managed to get it upstairs as I don`t want to be looking at it all day and it now resides on a lower comfy seat in my wellness room

Today I have an early haircut, only in town but I will probably take the car, in case the heavens open. No appointments for the rest of the week but always something to do

The birds are very vocal at this time of year, that plus the church bells, beautiful. The birds are drinking a lot from my water feature and I am having to top it up every day, I am glad to help them. Jackdaws are hiding, I think sitting on eggs. They keep me company all through winter

Yesterday I tried to second guess what I needed to do in the house to make things easier after my eye op. I had a big Tesco delivery too of ready meals. I'm not usually a fan of them but they'll pop in the microwave with no bending. Dd has made me dinner for today and tomorrow. I spent the afternoon reading.
I'm doing the early childcare this morning then an hour in the school library. I want to be busy. My neighbour is taking me to the hospital later on this morning and DD is picking me up. I think tonight's dinner is chicken and bacon hotpot.☺️ Have a good day all.

Yesterday went as planned with decluttering all day interspersed by sitting drinking tea and chatting in the garden.

Today I have to miss the exercise class while I wait in for the washing machine repair man.

A nice house has come on the market so this afternoon I will view it.

Good morning from a damp hillside in south Glos where we had some very welcome rain yesterday afternoon, accompanied by thunder. More forecast for today but we often miss it as the weather splits to either side of the hill.
I’m going into town first thing to collect my new glasses then we have a zoom meeting with our financial advisor - I’m not tech savvy so rather 😵‍💫 about it. We then have a face to face booking for next week- seems very much like overkill to me as our savings are meagre!
I enjoyed several hours in my Shed yesterday, drawing and crocheting in peace with tiddler accompanying me. We had two dog walks, a rather warm evening one despite keeping to the shade as much as possible.

Good morning Michael and all GNs from South Yorkshire where we have broken cloud for a change. Yesterday was a very quiet day. I woke up with a headache and terrible tinnitus which I couldn’t seem to “tune out”. Spent a little time in the garden but mostly indoors out of the heat.
We have a long drive down to South Wales for a funeral today. Long drive - sad day.

Good morning all. Partly cloudy start in Glasgow until 11.00am when we have wall to wall sunshine reaching a high of 22deg. Garden sprinklers will be on early evening to give the garden a thorough much needed soak.

DG2’s 16th birthday today. DD1 is taking her, her friend and GD1 bunji jumping, permission given by friend’s mum. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I will be glad when it’s over and they are back on terra firma.
I am going to there’s around 10.00 to give GD her birthday gift and share some birthday cake for elevenses before they leave at noon. This is something they have mentioned they would love to do so will be excited with the news that’s what is happening today. I had my booster yesterday, so far so good just a bit of a tender arm. This afternoon I intend to enjoy my favourite pastime, foutering around in the garden covered in factor 50.

Off to Llandudno today until Friday. Never been before so it will be adventure. Staying at primier inn as they have accessible rooms for walking disabled like me and wheelchair ones. Brilliant rooms plenty of space . Taxi coming at 7.30 and have travel assistance for the trains . Don't care what the weather is like as usual packed for all seasons 🤣. Have a good week everyone.

After my exercise class today I have an appointment at the hospital for a genicular nerve ablation in my knee which might give (temporary) relief from the osteoarthritis. No driving for 24 hours afterwards.

Yesterday was a busy but very enjoyable day.
Medals day at the rugby club then a BBQ at DH'S eldest daughter's house.
The twins were 8 Yesterday so presents and cake too.
My 13 year old DGD's team were runners up in a netball competition, lots of smiling faces there.
A quieter day today, admin, washing and ironing.

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. We had a lot of rain overnight which is wonderful for the garden.

Our cleaner should be here this morning and I’ll do the weekly shop. After lunch I’ll pop over the road for my friend’s monthly craft afternoon.

I’m thinking of the FGT2S especially today as they must be worrying about their hospital appointment this afternoon.

Although we drove back through heavy showers yesterday there had been no rain here. May get a storm today, suspect we won’t. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and being with family yesterday. Back to reality today with meter changes, our smart meter stopped sending readings a year ago.

Yesterday was glorious, we walked down to our local bistro for breakfast. The rest of the day was spent in the garden, DD and her boys joined us late afternoon for a game of rounders and a BBQ.

Today I have the gym first thing, then a leisurely afternoon in the garden perusing holiday brochures.

I had a busy day yesterday, de cluttering DH’s clothes. He has so many and only wears the ‘same old things’. As he was downstairs watching tv, I filled 2 sacks with things that hadn’t seen the light of day for years. He’ll never know! 😉. I’ll do a sack load once a week . 👍.

I then mowed the lawn, stained the new bannister, cooked dinner and helped Dh do his excercises. DS1 and DIL came , so we sat down for tea and cake and had a good chat.

Today I’m going to my Chimes group. Dh will be fine on his own for a couple of hours. He has his safety alarm on and his phone beside him. Physio coming this afternoon.

Good morning everyone from mid Essex. We had a very brief storm in the night, with a light shower. A lovely day yesterday, pulled up a few weeds but nothing much else. Went to DD1’s in the afternoon and sat in her garden chatting while she planted seeds with one of her daughters.
I had my usual catch up chat with my friend in Kent.
Nothing much planned for today, I may go for a walk this morning.
I hope *grandmabatty’s cataract procedure goes well today and that thefgts are reassured when they get the results of today’s tests.
My thoughts are with those who are suffering in any way.
