Good Morning Mick and everyone from warm, sunny Carlisle.
There was a busy morning of jobs yesterday with all the laundry outside to dry for once. In the afternoon, it was out in the garden but not for too long, it was so hot and sultry. One of my main tasks out there at the moment is watering, I have quite a lot of new plantings that need keeping an eye on.
I also started re-reading 'Conclave' which I read before when it first came out. I watched the film at the weekend and I see it follows the book well.
Today, I'm off to try and negotiate my way to the garden centre. Major roadworks abound between me and it at the moment...in the town centre, on the southern exit into the city and around the southeastern quadrant where we are getting a bypass. It's been going on for months and more to come. You should hear the taxi drivers moan and I don't blame them.
Later, I may be out in the garden or I may just sit and read. I may be extremely radical and dig my shorts out, I hate my pallid legs!
Best wishes to the little lad Bella. It will soon be behind him and hopefully forgotten.
Have a good day everyone.
