Hope all goes well today FGT for your dear Husband.x
Good wishes to FCT and her Dh.
Morning all, late on parade again. Just wanted to pop on and send good vibes to FGT and Himself hoping all goes well today for them.
x
Best wishes to you both today FGT. You reached out to me going through difficult times, now I'm sending you some heartfelt wishes that all will be well today.
Good morning Mick. Good morning All.
Lovely to see GransNetters out in force this morning supporting our own lovely FGT who has been a great support to all of us over the years with her positive, upbeat and cheery posts.
Our turn now. Prayers underway and everything crossed for a really good outcome today. 🎵 for all the grans that ever there was are gathered here together because today’s the day the FGTs have good news 🎶
Good morning from a fabulous and sunny midlands. Life is good.
Very best wishes for Himself’s procedure today FGT2.
He will be in very skilled hands.
Sending hug to FGT2 and himself 😘
I rang the doctors surgery promptly at 8am this morning, I held on for 42 minutes and have secured an appointment with my actual GP this afternoon!
My best friend messaged and said you must sound REALLY rough
Will read your news later 🙋♀️
Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire. Still no rain, if it doesn’t rain by the weekend the steam engines won’t be able to operate. The museum will still be open. They have a few diesels but it’s a shame for anyone who has booked expecting live steam.
We had a lovely drive out yesterday, we saw more sheep than traffic! It was nice to get up close to Jubilee Tower which I had been able to see from my hospital bed.
Today will be a quieter day at home, with a walk later.
Hope the stent procedure is troublesome free FGT2
As always, my thoughts are with those under the weather or dealing with sorrow in their lives.
Thank you all for the beautiful photos.
Wishing everyone a happy Tuesday 🌹♥️
Good morning from cool South Lanarkshire. Yesterday also started out cool and breezy but we had warm sunshine by the afternoon.
I was quite the domestic goddess yesterday and ticked off several tasks from my list. Daft dug had a lovely time with her groomer and will be much more comfortable without her thick fur coat.
Charity shop today and possibly yarn group this evening although I may give it a miss as I’ve a couple of things to do.
Beautiful photos this morning.
Sending good wishes to the FGTs and hoping for a good day for all.
Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny 🌞 Northampton, hopefully staying fine all day.
Slept till 8am this morning, and have just started the washing machine off with the bedding after changing the bed yesterday.
I got quite a few things done yesterday and felt satisfied. Went to yoga, had coffee afterwards with a group from the class, washed the towels, tidied the kitchen, and dealt with the cats' litter tray. Then after lunch planted up the geraniums I bought on Sunday; now the pots will look welcoming by the front door. After that changed the bed; still on my spring duvet (7.5 tog) and decided it's not warm enough for the summer one just yet. Then made a chicken stew in the pressure cooker using the left over chicken from Sunday.
Early lunch today then out to join my walking group this afternoon; I think I may take it a bit slower than usual, as I am out of practice!
No cooking today, just reheating the left over chicken stew from yesterday.
Thinking of the FGT2s today.
Wishing all a pleasant day.
Morning from South Lanarkshire, off early today but want to send good wishes and 🙏🏻 to the FGTs x
Grammaretto The Kelpies are lovely, aren't they? It's a nice park to walk through although it does get busy.
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
My long post vanished
I pressed post but forgot to wait till it went pink!
I was in your part of the world yesterday Grandmabatty on our U3A walk and felt that brief shower during our picnic bear the Kelpies.
Later my solicitor came to discuss my building plans. He sounds cautious like my own DC but understands my need for a project.
I hope the op goes smoothly today FGT 🙏
Lovely flowers Ash and views Holly
I hope everyone has a good day whatever your plans.
Good morning from sunny Shropshire. We had rain overnight🥳
Another day at home today.DH tripped on broken pavement on Saturday and bashed his head which has really shaken us up, me more so strangely🤷♀️luckily DD2 and SIL were with us to offer support and check him over.
I had a long chat with the diabetic nurse yesterday who surprisingly is very pleased with me.My bloods are slightly elevated but apparently the new medication I am on will have caused this.A few more tweaks to my diet should help🙄
Thinking of FGT and himself today.
I hope Marydoll is starting to feel better🙏🏻
Beautiful flowers Ash and lovely photos Roses and hollysteers.
Wishing everyone a good day🦩🌻
Enjoy that gorgeous fish and chips Liberty. I’m soooo envious!
Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 10° and cloudy. FGT best wishes to your dear man (and you) for today. I hope his procedure goes well and helps him. Ashcombe your flowers are beautiful. Roses that's quite a hill! Hollysteers a lovely view indeed from your room.
Yesterday passed without incident. I did almost nothing except read. The Amazon man brought my new coffee machine and I asked him to please put it in the kitchen as I'm not supposed to bend. He hesitated then did it. Apparently they're not supposed to go inside. In the afternoon we had a tiny shower which barely wet the ground before it vanished.
Today will be just as quiet as yesterday. I need to start building up my energy levels or I'll be wiped out when normal service resumes! Some gentle pottering in the garden this morning and watering pots. Dd is bringing a lovely homemade curry for my dinner later on. I have books to read and things to watch on tv. I also suspect a visit from a friend will happen. She just turns up and doesn't let me know beforehand. I might make gingerbread - the sticky sort. Have a good day all
Morning from a sunny S Hants. Voluntary phone was very quiet yesterday, quiz fun as always.
I need to plant on some busy lizzies and petunias, changing the soil in baskets and pots, doesn’t look like we’ll get much rain in the next 24 hours.
My very best wishes for you both today FGT .
🦩🦩
Good morning all .
Firstly , hope all goes well for the FGT’s. Thoughts and prayers are with you both.🙏.
Yesterday was a good one - Dd and I walked little pooch around Rayleigh Mount which is a small nature reserve in town - the flora and fauna all looking its best , so peaceful and restful.
Dd took lots of photos of the abundant wild flowers.
The new occupational therapist came and another lovely chap he was. He’s going to enquire whether he can take Dh for a short fishing session. The young physio is already asking if he can take Dh to the putting Green at the golf club. They can’t do enough for him.
I took Dh to the local fields and he walked a little way with his rollator. He doesnt like it and feels better just with a stick. He doesn’t persevere with things ie hearing aids, etc.
We then went to the local shops and was greeted like a long lost friend.
Enjoy the day 🌼
Good morning from s somerset, sunny and warm today
I overslept, I spent an hour last night looking for 2 tiny 18ct gold studs that I wear night and day to stop ear holes closing.
I asked my husband as usual when I lose something and 5 minutes later found them in a drawer, which had been open and they were in the tiny dark side join by a tall box. It happens all the time since he died, I have always found anything I lost, even once a tiny allen nut that had fallen into gravel
I will be making bread for the week today and compacting some freezer drawers, the gooseberries will be ready for picking soon and there are very many, again enough for a year. I do need to cook them to take less freezer space
The waistband is done on the skirt and it is hanging on my dressform so I can decide on the length later today. I may take another inch or two off, going to be tricky to get a nice hem but hanging will even out the fabric which does not happen to drapey heavy viscose when flat
Thinking of FGT and sending lots of good energy to get safely through this next stage
Good morning from a sunny Essex coast.
Club admin to tackle this morning along with some ironing.
Thinking of the FGT's, hope all goes well today.
Enjoy the day everyone xx
Good morning from a bright Black Country.
Lovely day yesterday on a trip with u3a. Welshpool, then canal trip.
Appointment at Surgery today for my 'long term condition' Asthma. So I will walk down later.
Then the day is a blank canvas with which to paint.
Thinking of the FGT's today, and hoping the procedure goes well
