GrandmaC47 it’s right opposite our house.

Blossoming, I think I went over that swing bridge on Friday!!

Blossoming Thu 22-May-25 14:40:23

The morning turned unexpectedly busy. There’s been a major accident on the M6 and it’s causing huge delays and traffic jams on our local roads. Even the swing bridge is blocked. I’m glad we didn’t need to go anywhere today but it has meant a delivery I was waiting for was delayed and the hairdresser was held up.

My hair is now considerably shorter and easier to manage, we have just been for a walk and it isn’t blowing in my face as much.

Congratulations to Iris Grandmattie.
Well done on your successful shopping trip Ashcombe.
It must be a relief to have a diagnosis Marydoll though perhaps not one you’d wanted. I hope the treatment starts soon and is successful.

I’m so pleased to read your update FGT2: sometimes we have to stick a smile on our face, straighten our spine and get out there. xx

Here is the newly swishy hair 😎

So sorry to hear your DH is having problems again FGT. My Mum had cancer of the oesophagus and I know it's pretty brutal to deal with. Here's hoping he responds well to the Christie's reommendations. thanks

Grannyme6 Thu 22-May-25 10:16:57

💐 to FGTs.

Good morning all. Making the most of what will be a sunny dry day in Glasgow according to the forecast for the week ahead.

I had two morning rises today, 4.30 and 9.30. Hey ho. Good timing for a trip to Waitrose yesterday as they had a fresh delivery of red geraniums. The hunt is over and now with the weather due to change, I will pot them up before my hairdresser visit this afternoon. Email problems yet again but I will hold off until tomorrow before the necessary lengthy phone call will be made.

Well done to Iris GM, I’m sure she had tough competition as always in any equestrian event.
You can do this baubles
Stay strong FGT. You are always in my thoughts. One day at a time.
You did it Ash One more hurdle to tick off.

Best wishes to all for a good/better day.
