Looking out to sea at the end of the pier. 2 children with me who loved Care bears. A pink light appeared and slowly faded away. Wishing ๐ŸŒŸ children shouted

It was the Bonnybridge area the police superintendent was talking about.

Twice, once in the 1980s camping in Wiltshire, DH and I observed a cylindrical craft in the sky at night. It had no lights and was flying low but silently. It circled the campsite and then headed away north. We both remember it.
The second time was on a regular flight from Morocco to the UK. A black cylindrical craft flew slightly below and to the left of our plane. Lots of people saw it and were calling out to each other to look. Either we overtook it or it vanished but lots of people asked the staff about it when we were leaving the plane in London but the staff brushed away questions. As someone else said, pilots often relate stories of strange things in the skies.
I remember hearing a BBC radio programme, some years ago which was a series of interviews with supposedly reliable people like policeman, EX-RAF etc who had seen UFOs and insisted that they were telling the truth.
Also, didn't President Obama allow the CIA (?) to release data about UFOs which were thought to be genuine sightings?
Have you seen one OP?

Aveline we had a local councillor, now lord provost who championed Bonnybridge as the UFO centre of Scotland at the time. sadly, I have never seen any and I've lived in the Falkirk area most of my life

I saw one a few years sgo when I was driving home at dusk. It was a large circular light hovering about by the hills. I couldn't stop to take a photo as I was crossing a bridge.

I have never seen a UFO, but I know truthful people who are convinced they had.

My speciality is ghosts, both of humans and animals.

I think I have, back in 1966, but I am not 100% sure.

Travelling to work by coach in the Oxfordshire countryside, between 1965-69, at around 8am. Some passengers noticed 3 silver/grey rugby ball shaped objects in the sky. As we passed a gateway we noticed a parked police car where two officers appeared to be looking at the possible UFOs.
