I am humbled by this thread and want to thank you all for your kindness, especially as many of you have your own sorrows to bear.

This totally surprising thread has been a light in a dark place, especially, when I have been let down shamefully by a broken NHS and thought no-one cared .

I am on the mend, } think, but still not well enough to do much.

So sorry Marydoll to hear about your latest episode of ill health. It's so hard to have to keep picking yourself up off the floor - especially when you are wary about the support you need from our broken NHS.

I understand pancreatitis can be very painful and has other debilitating symptoms.
