Beatles Fans

We won’t ever again see the like of The Beatles and the other amazing 60s bands.

I saw them at the Winter Gardens Margate in 1963. Couldnt hear a word for the screaming! And that was me!
I also saw Paul waiting at the back of the audience for a play in which Jane Asher was appearing at the Marlow Theatre Canterbury. Such exciting times seems only Yesterday.

George was the same. For some inexplicable reason he chose a blonde, leggy model rather than searching the back streets of Birmingham looking for me.

No, mine!!

I'll tell you something - that Paul McCartney was a silly boy. If he'd have played his cards right he could have been mine.

As a teen, my friends and I went to see them at several local concerts. It was just as they were becoming well known, and the music was electric!

We could hardly hear a thing for girls screaming, but I remember those concerts so well.

Ringo will be 85 next month.

It only seems a short while ago that we were dancing to "Please Please Me" in the school hall during a wet break.

I still love their music.

It is sad that John died so young and George died before he reached 60.
