Forecast Wednesday here, but only a one drop as my son says, which is hardly a downpour!

It's rained every day for the past week at some point. We even got a shower last night. Garden looking lovely and green.

pably15 thank you. They deserve a nice day, they're lovely neighbours.

Summer 84 was a hot one. I was pregnant with baby no. 3, no 2 and I spent a lot of afternoons just lying on the sofa 🥵

It’s the Summer of 76 all over again.

Except then I revelled in the romance of long Summer nights

And now I worry about my vegetables 😬

When my DD actually gets her pool up. She has been talking about it for weeks.

(For those who haven’t seen any for far too long.)

I might put a few quid on Wimbledon fortnight, but possibly a tenner on late July - once the school holidays have started. Isn’t it often the case that real summer weather (even if too hot) turns to rainy and unsettled once the children are on their summer holidays?
