Tbh - I suspect that there are two reasons for being banned.

Either you are using language or nastiness towards another member on a regular basis, and don’t desist even after warnings.

Or

You are putting GN into disrepute or breaking the law in some way. Usually racism I think.

I suspect that the last one is more usual.

Nanna, some who disappear are actually not banned, but still here under a different name.

I think you have to have a history of warnings, before you are banned by GNHQ. There has usually been a conversation beforehand. I'm sure some on here can clarify that.
It is not usually for just a trivial matter.
We never know the full story and what is has been happening behind the scenes, unless the banned poster is in contact outside GN.
