Any ironing in over 2 years š³
What havenāt you done ?
I haven't - cooked a Christmas dinner, in 45 years of marriage (DH does it)
Smoked since 1987
Ridden a bike
Worn shorts
Not worn shorts for 24 years.
Not worn leggings 35 years.
Not had sugar in tea or coffee for over 50 years.
I haven't smoked for nearly 6 years and it's saved me a fortune. Also since the lockdown, I've only been in a local pub once at night for a drink.
jocork, what a gorgeous rabbit and dress!
The only ironing I do is my work uniforms but other that that I refuse to iron anything - it bores me into a coma! I live in leggin's, t-shirts and sleeveless jackets so no real ironing is needed!
I've not done any housework, other than basic, since I was 18 and rented my first flat, where I immediately hired a cleaner, 42 years later I still have a cleaner coming in twice weekly! My current one, who has been with me since 2020, Tony is brilliant and he keeps my place immaculate! And when it's his time off he sends in his husband, Martin until he comes back! Both of them are the best cleaners I've ever had!
I've not had a bath since...forever as I hate them but love showers so wherever I move to or book B&B's/hotel it HAS to have a shower unit of some sort!
I've never ever worn heels, only flats, partly as I think they're hideous looking things and I can't understand why so many women - and men! - wear them, and partly as I'm 6'2 so what would I need heels for?!

I haven't bought a dress for over 10 years. I make almost all of my clothes and keep a spreadsheet of all my makes. I've just counted up and since 2015 I've sewn 61 dresses for myself! I still have most of them as I'm still the same size - no wonder the wardrobes are full to bursting. I'm not even going to count all the tops and trousers I've also made. I do love to be creative.
I used to make all my dresses when I was young but the last one I made for myself was my wedding dress in 1984. I rarely wear a dress nowadays and the last one I bought was for my son's wedding 8 years ago. I live in trousers!
I recently made a dress for my granddaughter's toy rabbit which I also made for her. My sewing projects these days are much smaller size!

I have not had a cigarette since 1990.
1980 for me. And there are still times when I could really fancy one. Though Iād probably have to get over an almighty coughing fit first.
Do they still sell Sobranie Black Russian I wonder?
I once smoked a Black Russian in the back of my friend's dad's car. He asked if someone was smoking a cigar?
Haven't smoked since 1974! Thank goodness I gave up or I'd be completely penniless by now!
I haven't been near a hairdresser for at least twenty years. What have I done with all the money I saved?
Good for you! Me too! š
I havenāt done any ironing since my husband retired. That would be 10 years!! š I had all the work clothes dry cleaned including shirts and all the best one I gave to our son for work. Gratefully received too!
Since having cancer two years ago I donāt do anything I donāt want to! Iāve changed!

I havenāt drunk Gin since I almost keeled over after one glass when I was 18. Iām 78 now š„µ
Perhaps you're allergic to the juniper, my SisIL was.
I drank too much gin with a friend in my early 20s and was very ill indeed so didn't touch it for 30 years but was pleasantly surprised to find one glass was fine when someone persuaded me to try it again.
I can't drink vodka, one glass makes me ill.

Haven't knowingly eaten gluten since 1996 (medically diagnosed coeliac). I say 'knowingly' but was given normal bread in a hotel in Sweden and was ill and mostly bedridden for the rest of our holiday.
Not cooked beef since BSE apart from cooking my lovely, now departed FIL for hus birthday each year.
Have not had a holiday for 8 years not even a complete day off.
have not been in my sons home since 2004, but I do see him in his work place occasionally
Not been to my best friend's home since Christmas Eve nor been invited, she comes here at least twice a week.
Have never smoked
Not been on an outdoor bicycle since 76, I used to love my bike.
Not done cross stitch work since 2006
Not used a sewing machine since 72
Seapebble I'm still laughing š
I haven't shaved my legs or armpits for five years - I braved the pain and used a depilator and it's true that the more you use one the less pain you feel!
I haven't ironed anything apart from seams and hems as I go along on garmets I make for myself for at least 30 years, since my children were old enough to do their own ironing. My DH has also had to learn the art of ironing his own clothes. Abosolutely hate ironing!
I haven't said Yes to anything I really don't want to do for the past year or so. It's taken me many years to get to this stage, but I just figured that I'm old enough now to say NO!
I havenāt drunk Gin since I almost keeled over after one glass when I was 18. Iām 78 now š„µ

I havenāt voted Labour in my life and Iām proud of that too.
Bixiboo hasn't voted Labour.Annewilko and Grantanow are proud they haven't voted Tory so at least we have political balance even if not voting for something is nothing to be proud (or ashamed) of.
It would be nice to have a non-political chat thread where political views didn't creep in.
Haven't spoken to the father of my children for 12 years. I still miss him.
Itās a great shame to politicise a thread like this!
I havenāt had my legs waxed for thirty years, I decided it wasnāt worth the pain.
I havenāt watched a TV advert for at least twenty years, I only see them at the cinema.
I havenāt drunk cider since 1978, after the mother of all hangovers.
I havenāt voted Labour in my life and Iām proud of that too.
Grantanow
I haven't voted Tory since I was born.
Nor have I and I am proud of that.
No Zumba, oldiesā ballet, watercolour painting, skipping, patchwork, pĆ©tanque, violin playing, stepping, hula hooping, running on a treadmill, yoga, bouncing on a mini trampoline, jogging. Each one since two or three weeks after buying the associated gear. Iām notorious for my sudden passions that donāt last.
On the upside Iāve still got all the stuff should the mood ever take me again.
no food nor snacks after 4pm, been doing this for about 2 years and sleeping better since
No wood carving since lockdown, the group disbanded and that was that
no supermarket shopping in person, any supermarket
No holiday for 8 years, no need, don`t want a holiday. I love where I live, my beautiful county of somerset and my own home with my nearby allotment and access to my 3 different bicycles (and lycra). I was bored senseless on holiday
For a long time, no cakes nor biscuits
No pets for 16 years. Horses, dogs, cats. I like my freedom, not being tied down
I haven't had a bath either, since the last one, I couldn't get out of the bath! My partner had to stand behind me and lift me up. Good job he was stronger then. Must be all the ironing he does for us. As my daughter put it "Not all heroes wear capes"
I love ironing!
Havenāt driven a manual car for about 30 years
Havenāt eaten pasta for around 10
Havenāt ridden a bike since I was 9 (thrown over the handle bars, broken arm thought this isn't for me!)
