Unless Christmas Day or Boxing Day falls on a Friday, I haven’t cooked on a Friday for forty years.

I haven't drunk a cup of tea since 1989.

I have not had a cigarette since 1990.

I haven't had my hair coloured for 8 years

Shaving, bodily hair pretty much disappeared.

I haven't drunk cows milk straight or in drinks for nearly fifty years.

Well done! I know how hard that is, having given up in 1984! The annoying thing is , in times of stress, I could still do with one!
So I suppose that’s my answer to this question!

1980 for me. And there are still times when I could really fancy one. Though I’d probably have to get over an almighty coughing fit first. Do they still sell Sobranie Black Russian I wonder?

Actually, in films from the 50s and 60s, there are often women smoking and in those days it was made to look very sexy! Think of Audrey Hepburn! Not that she needed any props, she was ridiculously sexy anyway! I am a straight woman but even I fancied her!

I haven't bought a dress for over 10 years. I make almost all of my clothes and keep a spreadsheet of all my makes. I've just counted up and since 2015 I've sewn 61 dresses for myself! I still have most of them as I'm still the same size - no wonder the wardrobes are full to bursting. I'm not even going to count all the tops and trousers I've also made. I do love to be creative.

Haven’t smoked since 1966, a surgeon made me go to theatre to watch a bronchoscopy on a gentleman who was a heavy smoker. It was like looking at colonoscopy thick brown gunge! Haven’t had a cigarette since!!

Since divorcing and retiring I have not:

Driven a manual car.
Styled my hair after washing, I just leave it to dry naturally.
Bought or worn a skirt or dress.
Done ironing.
Painted my nails (I love gardening).
Worn high heels.
Been to the Theatre or cinema.
Been on holiday.
Fitted into a size 12!
Attended a party or gathering that I didn't want to.

This sounds like I have 'let myself go', but I am always clean although dressed casually, and I do apply a little make up daily. I just love living alone with my cats, and pleasing myself. Home is my happy place. I had no problem with the Covid lockdown!

All this reminds of a Two Ronnies sketch which went something like this:-

Little Ronnie: When did you last have sex?

Big Ronnie: About 1940.

LR: Gosh! That's a long time ago

BR: Not really, it's only (Looks at watch) 19.55 now.

My mum smoked sabrani cocktail cigarettes when she went out in the evening. They were soooo pretty.

I haven't had one since 1964. I thought it must be lovely as so many adults did it. I pinched one of my dad's and went to the bottom of the garden and it was horrible. My one and only cigarette.
