Good morning early birds from sunny already north Wales where a trot out later this morning to Conwy Quay festivities is my weekend delight 🤗. After examining all events and tents we shall retire to a shady spot in Conwy’s Secret Garden with a chilled Pinot Grigio before a bus home for some more 🎾

I’m also blessed with six hours of free electricity between 2 and 8 so the week’s washing will be sorted too!

Enjoy your holidays and health all who can and lots of TLC for those in need 🙏

Good morning from a hot 🥵 Bristol. I find this heat intolerable.
After making blueberry jam yesterday morning, and picking lavender for “bottles”, I rested a little.
I had been asked to help at the post funeral meal for a young woman vicar (who I didn’t know). She must have been very popular as there were at least 20 vicars, plus a lot of her congregation at the meal. She was a South African Indian and there were vats of curries, etc. it was generally a thoughtful and memory filled event.
I went home before all the tidying up had finished as I had reached a “beyond tired “ stage, staggered home and rested as best I could.
My trusty frozen water bottle helped overnight.
Another dreadfully hot day today. It really makes me feel ill despite trying to do as little as possible.
For those who like it, enjoy the heat, everyone else, keep safe and hydrated! 💦
Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning Mick and everyone from a beautiful morning in Cheshire. I had just made the same plan for today Mick, to stay home and safe in the forecast heat of 30C. The morning is still, not a leaf stirring. I have opened all windows and doors to let the cool air. circulate.

I will be watching Wimbledon today. I guess they're used to playing in such heat. I was surprised yesterday to see how many spectators were not wearing hats, even some bald gentlemen. I will picnic in the garden under my new parasol.

Enjoy your day whatever you may be doing. Special thoughts for those who may be struggling at the moment. flowers

Good morning from a warm and sunny corner of La Sarthe.

I think you’re wise to stay indoors, Mick; I don’t enjoy being out in the heat of the day although yesterday it was pleasant in the garden first thing and mid evening with it still being light at 10.00 pm because we are on Central European Time.

Today we shall collect the two cats from the cattery. DH had to book them in there as we no longer have the services of the cleaner/gardener to care for them, following a disagreement twixt her and DH back in May.

Have a good weekend with happy holidays to those who are elsewhere and relief from pain for those who suffer. 🦩🥰🇫🇷💐🦩
