What can and can’t you do?

I can't :- do DIY , draw or paint, Run, play poker, Decorate cakes, Knit, crochet, put mascara on without giving myself panda eyes. Paint my nails, Arrange flowers, suffer fools.
I can: cook & bake, adapt a recipe, problem solve, Basic sewing, map read, Drive a manual and automatic, win at Cluedo, Touch my toes, ( on a good day)

What fun!

my mom made the lightest pastry - I make lead bullets!

I've spent thousands of pounds for swimming lessons and still can't swim a width. I've finally accepted that it is something that I'm not meant to do

I'm naturally tactless but I'm gradually learning tact.

WierdoAgain60. Why did you go 6 weeks without food? Was it to lose weight? How did you feel? I'm thinking maybe I could shed a few pounds this way.

Have all of my windows wide open when it's freezing cold, thick snow, storms, etc.!

Re your central heating remote- I had to have the system changed when I bought this house and thought nowt of the fact that they put in a manual controller for it.

Then it went wrong and I said to the plumber of the time "Simple....simple.....simple" and he said the digital one was simple. It wasn't - I couldnt use it. I was not a happy bunny - especially as it turns out the firm concerned was still making a -very very similar - manual one and so I wondered why he hadnt done that one for me in the first place!!!!! Cue for he had to change it again - back to a new copy of the original one.

I've learnt by now that things have got to have manual controls and "whytheheck" should I even try to deal with digital/smart etc gadgets?

I can't crochet, the tension is too tight.

I can and absolutely love going on the big rides at theme parks (especially Smiler at Alton Towers which has 14 inversions!). I love the adrenaline rush.

I can and do look after my 3 year old granddaughter (used to be weekly now fortnightly) and she stops over night.
