What a kind man Blossoming that looks delightful.

Stretch class was stretching, put through our paces after an easy week last time when it was so hot.
A little gardening, it’s so, so dry, Tesco delivered, we won’t starve!
Pub earlier and it was great to have MrJ on top form, welcomed back like the prodigal son, it was busy on a sunny evening.
I do hope soop is pain free and has her loved ones close.
Thoughts and my xx to others also fighting big battles.

Good evening dear Kitcheners. I have had a few ‘down’ days recently so MrB decided I needed a break and took me to Lytham. It was as usual very bracing, with a stiff breeze, and helped to blow away the cobwebs. My eyes are settling down and I am feeling much better.

What a shock to learn of all the sadness in our Kitchen at the moment. I can only add my hopes and wishes for Soop, FGT, Jax (and those I’ve missed out) to find some peace and calm amidst the storm. Xxx

Good morning all.
I am saddened by all the happenings in our lovely kitchen.
I hope things improve in whichever way they can for everyone.
I think it is an old song which contain the words “ into each life some rain must fall”
It seems very true at times.
Overcast and chilly here but a very warm day forecast for Bank Holiday Monday, I had to be reminded last night that it is a BH, when old and retired it just gets to be another day.

Baggs it must be be difficult for you to be the bearer of sad news once again 🌸

I do hope our dear soop is pain free and comfortable, sending her positive wishes, love and (((hugs)))

Thank you Baggs. So sad to hear the news. My dad had widespread bone cancer and I hope soop has some really good pain relief. Give her all our love.

Thinking of all Ealing with illness and other problems

soop has asked me to tell you the result of her latest appointment.

The cancer specialist who saw her today has ruled out chemotherapy as her bone cancer is far advanced and widespread. A three day course of radiotherapy is arranged for six weeks from now and is to target a tumour growing close to soop's spinal chord. Palliative care is top priority.

In her own words: "I intend making the remaining time a positive experience. Thankful for MrSoop's invaluable support and the kindness of family and good friends."
