My thoughts are with you today uttb. You’ll be thinking about your wedding day, all those memories and ‘what I was doing at this exact time 60 years ago’ etc. Yes you were blessed indeed. I’m glad your granddaughter and her boyfriend are raising a glass with you later. That will mean a lot to you I’m sure. 💐

Just to say that 67 years ago I was getting ready for my wedding.
It is a day of remembering for me.
We had 60 years of marriage, we were very blessed.

I've been out for a wee walk with Grandpup, chatted to a neighbour cutting his grass. Dog walking is such a sociable activity!

DS3 and lovely girlfriend met us on the edge of the woods, they'd arrived to find my house like the Marie Celeste, soup simmering on the hob and no sign of Gran or pup! They knew I wouldn't be far, good to see them.

Wishing everyone the best possible weekend, thinking of all with worries, illness or sorrow. Sending love and prayers for all who need/ wish them.

I spoke too soon. soop is having bloods and scans taken. Calcium level in blood must be reduced. The infusions make her feel her bladder is permanently full, she says.

She does not know how long it will be before she is "handed over' to the cancer team but with her usual positivity she says: "I am not going to get better but I'll endeavour to enjoy the time I am gifted." MrS will visit later today.

Hello kitchen people.

My granddaughter is here and it is lovely to have her staying. Her parents are on their way to Scotland for a few days.

I hope Soop is comfortable and that her OH is able to visit. I’m thinking of the FGT2S too:

Back from our local Italian restaurant, tasty food.

Wore a pair of shoes which I wore on Tuesday, and several times on holiday, tonight they gave me a blister.

Unfortunately I can’t walk my DD’s dog grannmarie, she’s still very boisterous and would pull me over. I wish I could take her for a walk, the exercise would do me good! DD2 will take her out in the morning as the dog walkers don’t do weekends! Enjoy your walks with Grandpup!
