Good morning everyone from the east coast of Fife where it’s bright and sunny. My daughter who lives in Aberdeenshire says the place is full of police and police on horses due to due to Donald Trumps visit. He’s like marmite, you either love him or hate him, you’ll just have to guess my view, it’ll be like many others.

Have a good day my friends, a smile costs you nothing

Good morning from Keswick where it is bright and dry at the moment.

I had a lovely day yesterday with my nieces and their children. I had lots of cuddles with the baby and am happy to say we are good friends! He is extremely smiley and sweet and seems to be a very contented little chap after the scare when he was born and had to go back into hospital with a nasty virus.

Today will be sad saying goodbye. One niece is off back to Berlin, the other to Italy before heading back to the US so I expect my niece in Penrith will miss her sisters very much.

I’ll be in Chester by this afternoon. Interesting to hear you lived in Chester Aldom. I grew up there, also lived quite near Upton. I went to Queen’s but it’s a long time ago now!

I’m thoroughly enjoying the beautiful English countryside and taking it all in. There have been a lot of happy memories made even though I came over for a very sad occasion.

We had a good time shopping yesterday and I visited Seasalt who had a sale on and came out with quite a number of new tops! I’m sure my 22kg luggage allowance is not going to be enough.😰

Hoping you all have a good day.☀️

Good morning from a drizzly Lancashire.
I'm the only 1 awake in the house so far. I'm very tempted to try to sneak downstairs to do a bit more of my jigsaw but I know if I do they'll sense movement so silent typing is a safer bet.
After a day working from our dining table DD went back home to Birmingham last night. It's been lovely having her here. We have weekly phone calls and keep in touch via WhatsApp but it's good to have chance to spoil her with home cooked meals.

I sense stirring so better go. Have a good day everyone. 🌻

Old morning from Bristol. We have had the tiniest bit of rain overnight, the road is barely wet. More is promised later, I’m not holding my breath.
Quiet day, after the usual Tesco with my neighbour and her friend.
DS got his paperwork in the late morning after two frantic phone calls to DHL. And I was mistaken, he’s leaving for the airport at midday today.
In the late afternoon, a neighbour called through my open door, asking if I could help. She sounded worried. I rushed out to find her clutching her landline. Someone was at the telephone and she couldn’t understand him, nor what he wanted; she feared it was a scammer.
In fact, the young man was very patient, explaining that he was doing a survey on behalf of the management, to find out how she had found the work for her new replacement window. It took ages because he asked the question, I’d pass it on to her, and explain the question, she would answer and I’d relay the reply to the caller…
I bought some little annual begonias to replace the lobelias in my pots. They were magnificent for months last year. This year, they have been ok, but are already over. I’ll plant them this morning, together with a couple of cerinthe seedlings I have been nurturing.
I hope that FGT2 and himself are doing well, that MD is coping with the girls and everything, and everyone else has a good Tuesday.

Good morning Mick and followers, dawn’s breaking here, I’ve been awake for several hours 🙄, will get up shortly and take tiddler out. Bigger dog has her dog walker today.
It’s dry at the moment but showers are forecast, I doubt that we’ll get much so I gave the pots a good watering late afternoon yesterday.
Housework then more arty stuff I think, I want to carry on with the one I started Sunday, but also start an online coloured pencils class.
Hope today goes well for you all 🌹

Good Morning Everyone,
Its light and dry here in brackley at the moment.
My usual routine of a mix of housework plus getting the bus to Bicester , which has had to divert due to roadworks effecting the route.
Return for lunch and maybe more housework , before settling down to watch TV.
Health OK,
Take Care,
Mick
