The other one is "as far as we know ,no one has come back to tell us any different, we only have one life so live it the best way you can." Even when things have gone wrong I have always been glad of the many experiences I have had in my life, and dont remember how much I spent on a dress or whatever. It is the people I met and the things that I did give me pleasure to think about now.

I like that Daffydilly - quite relevant for me now as I anxiously await a call from my d.I.l. regarding the results of a scan - she found a lump on her collarbone a week or so ago.
I hope, whatever the scan shows, it’s all going to be ok. She is a mother with young children.

My Gran used to say “If you look after the pennies the pounds will look after themselves “. Certainly makes for a comfortable life. I am glad I listened to that one.
