So what do GNs think of Starmer’s decision to recognise Palestine as a state?

My house my rules applies to Gransnet management and to us its users. However there seems no advantage to Gransnet or its management in not explaining why this thread was closed.

GN did explain ..
This discussion thread has reached a 1000 message limit, and so cannot accept new messages.
I think when this happens, a new thread part 2 can be created?

Mine was the thousandth post so the thread naturally closes. All threads close after 1000.

Once I'd typed out a post, it took me ages, but the thread had just closed before I got there!

Sometimes there have been threads where posters had fun trying to take them to 1000 posts, whilst loosely sticking to the topic! 😁

May have been fun but best left in the past. Caused problems for some posters and for the mods when some posts were printed in the papers. Not ones that reflected well.
