1,000 I think. It closes automatically.

Once I'd typed out a post, it took me ages, but the thread had just closed before I got there!

Mine was the thousandth post so the thread naturally closes. All threads close after 1000.

I've just looked at the thread you mention over a coffee, (I haven't been reading it).
GN did explain ..

I think when this happens, a new thread part 2 can be created?

So what do GNs think of Starmer’s decision to recognise Palestine as a state?

My house my rules applies to Gransnet management and to us its users. However there seems no advantage to Gransnet or its management in not explaining why this thread was closed.
