Clarks flat sandals which are over 20 years old but still in good condition and better still most comfortable.

I recently bought some Skechers sandals.
And they are so comfy.
It’s like walking on sponge. Lovely and springy.

Wish I’d purchased them ages ago.

I find trainers a bit clumpy, so avoid them usually.

Archies Flip flops mostly because they help with my Plantar Fascitus (SPel)

About to go for a walk.

Comfy sliders all year round in house. Socks as well when it's not too warm, like today.

In the Madrid Capital, it is 30 degrees centigrade and we have both been in our Sportshoes ( Zara / Oysho / Adidas ).

I wear "mules" which are backless mini heels with pointy toes for a dressy look ..

Saeda pumps are too high for me at 10cms - even if I could afford them!

Crocs indoor and outdoor Summer and Winter

I am surprised at all the people who go barefoot, as I find it painful. My feet (and my hands) have lost all fat and are uncomfortably bony. Does no-one else have that problem?

Baggs your socks are stunning! I had a great aunt who knitted socks but certainly not to that beautiful standard.

Thank you, dogs! This is another pair I knitted. Mad sock knitting is a challenge I set myself to help me deal with grief.

Barefoot around the house and for yoga this morning.

MiniMoon - Are the barefoot shoes living up to the hype at the moment. Think some people call them grounding shoes to help with neuropathy pain in feet. I’ve been thinking of trying them but I have flat feet so would zero drop heel be suitable for me.

Bare feet or flip flops inside the house . Open sandals when out walking . There will be no socks or tights or shoes worn until late Oct

We have no carpets downstairs and the main living area is tiled, so the floor is quite cold. I don't therefore usually walk round in bare feet, although I would like to. I wear socks or slip-on shoes.
I have had plantar faciitis a few times and it is so painful that I am very careful when buying shoes. I can tell immediately I put a shoe on whether it might cause another outbreak. I also have high arches and quite wide feet, so buying shoes is a nightmare. If I go for a walk I always wear supportive shoes as otherwise the dreaded pf would come back.

Cheap plastic Crocs

Because they are so comfy I wear my Birkenstock Betula toe posts for most of the year around the house. Had several pairs in different colours bought from QVC now down to one black pair. Sadly they no longer make them.

I never go barefoot in the house (unless I’ve got my feet up on the settee and it’s very, very warm), or garden, as

a) my feet quickly feel the cold and cramp up
b) I don’t want to stand on something sharp or stub my toes.

So, indoors it’s slippers usually and outdoors it’s footwear suitable for whatever the weather and occasion.

Cooler weather? It was scorching in the Midlands yesterday and I was wearing my Hotter espadrilles as we met family for lunch. I tend to go barefoot at home in the Summer and have some Skechers flip flops for the garden. I used to just wear cheap, flat flip flops but I prefer a bit of cushioning these days. It's cooler here today but still sandals weather.

Suzysues my Sketcher sliders were seven years old and desperately needed replacing. I'm more than happy with my Hotter sliders as they have a flexible sole and leather liner.
I have 'difficult' feet and find these new sliders very comfortable from the outset. Having adjustable straps across the top of my foot really helps.
I don't think they were much different in price to Sketchers. I happened to find mine in the sale for £59 reduced from £89. I didn't choose them on price but on comfort. I tried various makes in three shoe shops before finding these. Love them.

Salomon flipflops for me, more supportive and my feet don't slide off the side like the cheap flipflops. I can't stand those sort of sandals where the edges curl up, they catch my toe nails. Salomon walking boots most of the year when I'm out (dogs and rough surfaces!)
NB, only one foot shown as the other has a manky toenail where I dropped a settee on it...
