Good morning from Shropshire.Sunshine and showers forecast yesterday.

I managed half my balance and stretch class yesterday which I was a bit disappointed with but as DH and the class instructor said later was a good achievement for my first outing since my illness.

This morning I have to collect a couple of parcels from the Royal Mail depot.DD and family are coming for lunch and to collect their little dog.It has been lovely having her, its home from home for her here.

Thinking of FGT’s and himself🙏🏻

Hoping Marydoll and Blossoming are feeling better today and wishing everyone the best day possible🦩🌻

Good morning from a still dark but warm Black Country.

Awake unusually early for me. A busy day yesterday, after seeing Evita the night before. It was a very alternative version, but very good. Then yesterday after breakfast at the hotel we had a couple of hours to wander around. The Hotel was only a 20 minute walk away from the Houses of Parliament.

Caught the train at 2pm, where by then it was raining! We were home by 5.00pm. Both journeys to and from London, not once were our tickets checked! I even carried the card with me to prove I was entitled to the 33% discount. As I wear hearing aids, I can claim the disabled one, which is only £20 for the year.

Today I am meeting a friend at 2pm for a late lunch. Only met her once this year, as one or the other of us was busy or away. Only live 15 minutes drive away from each other.

Wishing you all the best day possible, with special thoughts of FGT's

Good morning Mick, and everyone up so early this morning.
We are due lots of rain today and had several very short but heavy ones yesterday.
I must try and repot an ancient and extremely prickly cactus today as it is growing at a strange angle.

Good morning from s somerset, rain later

I was woken too early, something fell onto my hall/landing floor, sounded like a light chain, so I had to get up to look, even looked in my loft in case any vent pipe had fallen. Could not see anything. Went back to bed and later I stretched, knotted my left calf and got cramp. I am going to increase my magnesium intake today

Wondering about the amount of raw spinach I eat everyday, so I changed my organic order earlier, I think I am eating a bit too too much oxalate and that can cause muscle cramp. I will reduce the spinach by half each day, have to do that reduction gradually

I have a new neighbour. moving in day for her yesterday, to a new build, her family don`t live in the area, same for me. She seems lovely, a bit younger than me. I have been without a constant immediate neighbour for 6 years, my other two were always away. I was able to reassure her son that I always felt safe in this area and she will be safe too. Softly softly now, while we get to know each other

I thought it was time to cut my butternuts, so now they are curing for a couple of weeks. These were from 2 seeds and grew atop a raised bed in my garden. Well behaved plants, unlike the `thugs` on my allotment. I am not complaining about those, it will take several car journeys to get those squash back home next month

Knitted a lot yesterday and enjoying it with the thin needles, my fingers are not at all sore so the bamboo does work

I need to do some exercise today, it has to be a cycle ride but I need to get back before it rains. I will be out as soon as it is light enough

Have a good day

Good morning, dry and dark out there like you Mick, its like living abroad in the uk this summer.
Everything hurting today so, will not be doing much, a bit of shopping and ring an old friend for a catch up later.

Good morning from a dry Bristol. The light is just starting to show in the east.
I had another rotten night. Kit seems unfair when, after a couple of reasonable night and I think I’ve racked this sleep thing, another disturbed night starts the rotten cycle all over again.
I had a reasonably successful shop for fabrics, etc., yesterday and have started the patchwork. My problem is the size of blocks which don’t fit a particular measurement.
Today, I’m back at my FAB cafe and shall chat to people. I’m finding this summer especially hard regarding human contact. It has been very slight and, unusually, I have felt rather lonely.
Many of you are in my heart and prayers but especially FGT and himself, and MD.
Carpe diem 🌺🦩🦩🦩🦩❤️
