Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark and wet start here in Brackley this morning.
My day will be bus trip to Bicester shop and chat to those I know .
Return and go to the local Fish & Chip shop at lunchtime ,and settle down to watch the Tour of Spain cycle race on TV.
Take Care,
Mick

So pleased to hear of your medical appointments MaryD! A way forward at last. But… can’t you change your GP? Maybe you should write a letter of complaint to the Practice Manager. I bet you’re not the only patient having problems with this particular GP.

What fantastic news, MD, although very, dry late. I’m glad the two clinicians are now looking out for you and treatment is beginning. 🫂

merlotgran what sad news of your little Peggy. My condolences from the heart.💔

I went through it last month with my Buzz boy and still can’t get used to not having him around.😭

marydoll what a relief that you are finally getting the attention your various conditions deserve and need. I hope the new meds and treatments will bring some improvement.

Bore Da from a dry but cloudy SWWales. Though it did rain a lot last night.
Glad you are being ‘sorted’ Marydoll. Love that word, covers an immense amount of things.
Just unpacked Tesco. We try to go fortnightly now and early as during the holidays, with visitors to the coast it is heaving.
Hope everyone can enjoy a quiet day

Ah, for the days when the Pembrokeshire coast was a well kept secret, Jamesand John!

Grandmabatty

*Marydoll*, are you able to change doctor's at your surgery? He doesn't sound as if he's up to the job at all.

We never see our own GP any more. It is pot luck, you can no longer ask for a specific GP.
I got my own GP, just by chance, when the ulcers started, so he then was responsible for seeing me.
He used to be a kind and very supportive GP, until the pandemic. I don't understand how he can have changed so much.

I was asked to make an appointment with a different GP regarding a hospital letter. I declined to see her. It was she, who suggested I buy a tube of Bonjela! 🤬

So glad you got somewhere Marydoll. As you say impossible to know who you will see now, I have an appointment next week with someone unknown.

Ladyleftfieldlover Fri 29-Aug-25 12:31:26

We’re very fortunate at our surgery. When we send in an Engage consult message we either nominate a named doctor or merely a male or female doctor. Or, we can say ‘anyone’.

Marydoll Fri 29-Aug-25 12:36:27

To my utter joy, I received a text, saying we will soon be using this facility Guess who I won't be asking for!!😉

Not long now*Greyduster*, and they will all be off home, and peace will de end. The only sound the seagulls and the crashing waves. Bliss.

So sad for you Merlotgran it is tragic when we lose a beloved pet. They become so much more than just an animal when we let them into our lives and hearts. 💐
