When you walk through a storm, always a golden sky

flowers

I think you’ll find the line is actually

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of a storm There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
( Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
For your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone )
Uplifting words, thinking of you Marydoll 💝

Rosie thank you for pointing that out. I did not want to print the whole song.

Good afternoon ,
Late to the party today.
Just enjoyed lunch in the garden… sunny day here in the highlands. Washing on the line , apple crumble in the oven.
A calm and peaceful day to all

Marydoll, it seems you have just about the whole of Gransnet rooting for you! I hope it helps.
As for telling your family, that is entirely your decision as you know them better than anyone. Do what you think us right for them, and for you.
Big hugs from me, and, I’m sure, from other Gransnetters

Good morning Mick and all from a dark but dry north 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 where I’m up with sparrowfart to enjoy my morning reviver ☕️ and our excitement today is a coach trip to Ludlow Food Festival 😋

I usually come home laden with goodies (of which samples will have been enjoyed especially the alcoholic ones for Mr PG🥳) a lovely start to autumn I feel!

Will pop back this evening to catch up with all your weekend bizzinesses, and hope those with challenges have an easier day x

Just reading the thread and this jumped out at me as Himself had suggested earlier in the year we go. Stay overnight in an hotel. My grandfather hailed from Ludlow and I only remember a couple of parts of it. I really fancied a trip there.
Sadly not to be now.

Oh Marydoll I’ve only now read your post. You’ll have a very anxious weekend ahead. I hope Monday brings a degree of reassurance for you. I’ll be thinking of you with hope in my heart - and for Himself too - as we are at the Christie on Monday afternoon. I think we need a miracle now.
