Happy 70th birthday Glammagran🥳🎂🍾🥂
Nicola Sturgeons husband pleads guilty.
What are you avoiding doing in this heat?
Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but remains dry here in Brackley this morning.
Today besides some housework , I will be watching the Men's World road championships on TV from Rwanda.
My health is OK but weight variable .
Take Care,
Mick
Happy 70th birthday Glammagran🥳🎂🍾🥂
Good morning from a cool but dry NE.
DS and GD2 visited yesterday after GD did her shift in the charity shop, she is working towards her silver D of E award.
After dinner GD played the piano and then DS played the mandolin.
Today the family are off to Beamish museum and GD is taking several friends with her. They asked if I wanted to go but all day on my feet is not an option at present.
Happy birthday glammagran.
Have a good day everyone.
Good Morning from a slightly cloudy Cyprus.
I’m a liability on holiday - I’ve a wobbly crown this morning! My dentist hoped all the ‘work’ would see me out, but it would appear not.
🎂glamma
Special thoughts to FGT and MD.
Best wishes to all. X
Good morning all from a sunny Suffolk where we returned yesterday evening after a really good holiday in Buxton and the surrounding area. An unexpected treat but much enjoyed was sun every day and bright blue skies.
Today the usual jobs after time away and after our Waitrose delivery, due shortly and DH’s return from the boarding kennels with our little dog,I hope to get into the garden and plant some bulbs as well as continuing the general pre winter tidy up.
I hope those with worries and health concerns have the best day possible and Glammagran has a wonderful birthday celebration. When I was 70 several years ago,I was told that 70 was the new 50! Dream on I replied.
Good morning from S E Essex.
Happy 70th Birthday Glammagran 🎂🍾🥂🥳 enjoy your lunch.
Hope your DS and GD enjoy their birthdays kittylester time definitely flies.
We will have to go out for a late Sunday lunch, as kitchen is still out of bounds.
Thinking of all our morning friends with troubles or illness 🌸🙋♀️
Happy birthday glammagran 🎉🎂🎁 have a lovely day and best wishes to anyone else celebrating.
Wishing everyone a pleasant day whatever your plans ☀️.
Good morning all and another nice day here in Essex.
Yesterday ds1 and DIL took us to the small garden centre to get winter flowering plants for all our pots. They have an old red double decker bus in the garden which has been made into a cafe, so we sat outside beside the large fish pond and had coffee in the sun. Simple pleasures bring so much joy.
Dh went to footie with his boy and I set to and potted up bulbs and plants.🥵. Karma will laugh at my poor efforts 😅.
A few more bulbs to go in for a lovely show in the spring 🤞.
Dh and I watched some of the Ryder Cup and felt very sad at the American fans booing and shouting abuse at the European players. What’s become of this ‘gentleman’s’ sport.
An easy day today with left over chicken casserole. I might turn it into a pie.
I will read this afternoon- I’ve got out of the habit recently and my mind wanders. I have two books on the go so will hunker down and concentrate.📚
Happy birthday Glammagran. Have a lovely day. 🥳
Good morning everyone from a cloudy south coast where light rain is forecast.
Yesterday DD and I went to see the Downtown Abbey film. Very enjoyable but a shame it will be the last one. Today will be a bit of a nothing day but I have a book to finish and some TV to catch up with.
Hope everyone has a pleasant Sunday.
Good morning all from a sunny Glasgow, where it is 5°C,
Happy birthday Glamnagran, have a lovely day with your family. 🥂
Ash, many years ago I was invited to join my colleagues from the High school on an outing to Blood Brothers, I didn't know the storyline and when shot rang out, I jumped out of my chair letting out a scream.
The following day, my daughter's maths reacher told the class about an idiot at the the theatre the previous evening, who thought the gunfire was real..
I was mortified!
I have no plans for today, I need some quiet time and am weary of everything.
Yesterday, I noticed a missed call from a former colleague on my phone, I really don't feel like engaging, but I know she will persist.
The strangest thing has happened, I am starting to put on weight and quite perversely, I am miffed,
I like the new, slim me.😉
Have a pleasant Sunday, everyone.

Good Morning all from a dull but dry at the moment , Co Armagh
The washing machine is thrashing away , hoping for drying outside
Our chapel has been renovated so today it is being re dedicated with many visiting dignitaries and clergy
It is tiny so I have to go early to get in , though some people are going to a different Chapel
I’ll light the usual candles and remember our struggling friends on the forum 🕯️💐
Morning, just had a shower in cloudy S Hants.
Happy Birthday glammagran have a lovely lunch 🎂🥂🥳
Yesterday I cleared tomatoes from the greenhouse, petunias and inpatients from tubs and hanging baskets. Then off to the farm shop/nursery for potatoes, cabbage, compost and violas - an odd shopping mix!
I need to buy bulbs, this week will do.
No big plans today, granddaughter asleep still, she said she wanted cold pizza for breakfast, fine with me.
Have a pleasant day all.
Good to have Blossoming and kitty recovering.

Good morning from Cloudy Chambers northwest coast.
The decorator finished the spare bedroom yesterday and I’m really pleased, he finished it in four half days and it had been damaged by damp and a leak, so a good job done. It’s a nice pale blue stripe wallpaper. Now to choose a new carpet. I hate plain carpets, but don’t want anything too obvious.
I really enjoyed my quiet day yesterday after a busy week and today will practise some songs, paint a card for my son’s 50th (!) birthday and catch up on a few jobs. It’s nice to have the house to myself again.
Last night I watched a lovely series on YouTube from 1986 with Wendy Hiller called “All Passion Spent” (so true for me😁) from the novel by Vita Sackville West. I didn’t see some of these excellent series at the time as I was too busy living.
Birthday greetings Glammagran and thoughts to all🌺
Yesterday I cleared tomatoes from the greenhouse, petunias and inpatients from tubs and hanging baskets
Poorly plants in the tubs and hanging baskets were they? 😷😷😷😷
Sorry!
It gave me a good laugh though! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A leisurely start to the day as DS and I were late to bed after a lovely evening of chat and catch up on family, work and world affairs - all of which were interesting and important. He returns to London after an early lunch and it has been so nice to have him to myself for once, much as I love the rest of his family.
Another fine day forecast but with a distinctly autumnal chill in the air, the sort of the day when we used to go for a conker seeking walk when the children were young, so long ago.

Good morning everyone
Wishing you a very Happy 70th Birthday Glammagran have a lovely lunch 🎂🎉🥂
It’s lovely and sunny here so I’ll potter with outside jobs today and might even put the cleaner over the downstairs floor.
Good morning everyone. It was cold and foggy here in Lancashire this morning, brightening up now. MrB has been here all morning, we had hoped to go for a walk. He has gone home to do some laundry and get some lunch then will bring my tri walker over so we can go for a walk. I’m really looking forward to it as I have only been out in my wheelchair lately. I’m keeping up the exercises in my room so my legs won’t be too weak and wobbly!
Happy birthday Glammagran.
Well had better say good afternoon Mick and all GN's.
Struggling today, temperature, cough and cold. Most annoying as it is lovely outside and wanted to get some plants put in, but not a chance as I feel now. I stayed in bed all morning, and have got up twice. Once to get a drink and some cereal about 9ish. I managed to wash up but that was it and back to bed. Now have just got some more drinks, not feeling like eating, but chance to catch up with your news. Have listened to DID with Micheal Sheen and then Private passions but that is the extent of my listening today. So back for radio 3 playing quietly and maybe get a bit of sleep. Hopefully back tomorrow.
Poor you Madeleine. Lots of fluids and rest.
Madeleine. Get well soon. It's not much fun being ill on one's own is it?
Good afternoon from Madrid Capital, Spain ..
Yes, it is quite chilly and overcast since I had awakened at 7am.
It was 8 degrees early this morning and now it is approx 20 centigrade.
I had to take our two French bulldogs for their outing and they wanted to hurry up their business and go home !
Edmond ( Two and a half years old )and Emanet (means Legacy in English and he is one year and a half in age ) were not keen on the weather this morning !!
It is overcast and darkish .. But no rain.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 8° with some early morning cloud. It has been cold in the night as my windows are misted. I've put on the heating for a little while. Glammagran a very happy birthday to you. Redcar I have ironing to do too. Grammaretto I hope you feel better soon.
Yesterday was a merry meeting with my chum. We had a lovely breakfast and caught up with all our news. I had managed a quick trip to Aldi beforehand and washed and dried the bedding on my return from taking my friend home. Thereafter reading and some tv.
Today I'll get the ironing done. My intention is to put up the autumn decorations but it'll depend on my balance on the step ladders. Then some pottering. Have a good day all.
Hello, Grandmabatty,
You mentioned Autumn decorations. Never heard of those before! Sounds intriguing. Is there any chance you could post some photos please? I’m sure I’m not the only one who would love to see them.
Thank you 💐
