Just seen your message FGT2. I hope all goes well at the Christie. 🪻

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Warm and windy.

I've been to my exercise class, had coffee at the community café - where the fancy machine has stopped working so no lattés or flat whites. We are spoiled I know.....

I've hung the washing out and now must settle to trying to understand the legal paperwork which I posted last week and have received back . 🙄I've done something wrong apparently. I may have to ask at the CAB.

Marydoll would probably know but is unavailable 😕. Hope the scan goes well today and you've survived the journey. 🤞

I hope you get some comfort at the Christie, FGT ☘️ 💐

My DD's power and water has been restored. It's been off since Friday because of the storm.

Hoping everyone has a pleasant day and a good week.

Late to the party as family have moved off and I wanted to get their bedding and towels washed and out on the line while we have such suitable weather. It has been lovely to have them here, DD has cooked and cleared up both days so I feel I have had a holiday - and that I trained her well!

Thoughts with * Marydoll* and the FGTs today and every day.

Grannydaisy1 Mon 06-Oct-25 10:55:53

FGT all the very best for this afternoon’s appointment

Good morning from a bright Co Durham.
I’m glad it’s not raining as we are having new flooring laid in the downstairs hall and a second bannister installed, so we are in the lounge and have to leave via the French doors and round the house to access kitchen and downstairs loo. Minor problems I know.
So many of you are facing real challenges. Thinking especially of Marydoll and the Fgt’s.
Hope you get your walk Blossoming.

FGT2 Wishing for a positive outcome for your appointment today, thinking of you both.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s chilly and damp. High of 17°C later but Alexa tells me it’s says to expect showers. Thank you for so many kind messages of support for our appointment at Christie’s this afternoon. x

Blossoming Mon 06-Oct-25 09:42:48

Good morning everyone from cloudy Lancashire. It’s not raining at the moment, but it’s very grey and dark. MrB is coming to see me at around 10am and we are planning on going for a walk, weather permitting.
Wishing you all a Happy Monday, sending love and positive thoughts to Marydoll and the FGT2s.

Morning all,
Ironing is beckoning me this morning and then deciding on suitable clothes to take with me for a week away with our caravan- going to North Norfolk tomorrow.
Frankly I’d rather stay home as it’s so late in the season but Mr M wants go as ironically we’ve not used it much this summer- too busy but not sure with what!

Hope MDs journey to the hospital is uneventful and the procedure likewise with results being the lesser of the evils 🤞🏻.
Thoughts with the FGTs too 💐

Have as good a Monday as you can all x.

Good morning, Michael12 and all of you!

Storm Amy is currently over in Little Appleby, which is sad for me, as I love all the storms! She was a great and beautiful lady!

About 1:30 am, I was sitting in the kitchen with my laptop, guzzling a tin of Carnation Evaporated Milk and scoffing YumYums and watching a brilliant film called Natural Selection, from 2016, starring Ryan Munzert.

It was very well acted and also so true to life!

Have a brilliant day, all of you!

Good morning all and it’s a calm day here in Essex.

We popped in to see DIL who was recovering from her op and was quite comfortable and happy that it was all over. We saw one of the gd’s the other one still snoozing after a late party.

Today we have ds2 coming for the day , ds1 will join us later for financial chat with advisors coming in too. My head will be 🤯.

Take care all 🌻

Good morning from a brightening northwest coast. Another quiet day in store, a walk, music study and house stuff. The week gets busier as it goes on.

Aldom Mon 06-Oct-25 08:43:39

Thank you Susan56. The people from whom I am buying can complete around the third week of October, so fingers crossed for then.

Good morning from sunny Wiltshire.

A rather quiet weekend. My dahlias did not appreciate the wind on Saturday and many flowers were snapped off. They are still in full flower but won’t last much longer.

School pickup later.

Thoughts with MD and FGTs.

Have a good day all

Jaxjacky Mon 06-Oct-25 08:34:10

Morning from a positively balmy S Hants, due to be a lovely day.
How rotten Sar safe journey home for you both.
Your daughter is fortunate you’re so amenable Bellas.
Lovely late lunch with the children and grandchildren yesterday, grandson scored two goals in the morning helping his team win.
We then won venison and chicken breasts in the usual meat draw.
Voluntary phone today, some housework, then quiz.
Have a pleasant day all

Good morning from dreich South Lanarkshire.

Lovely wreath GrannyIvy.

An anxiety inducing journey for you today Marydoll, thinking of you.

Your DD is lucky to have you Bella.

Safe trip home Sar, I hope your poor husband isn’t too uncomfortable.

I’ve no particular plans today but must get out for a long dog walk, there’s been so much rain recently and neither she nor I get a lot of pleasure from trudging through the puddles.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.
