Goodness. I’ve been on toddler duty for two days, so other than checking my ‘I’m Ons’ yesterday evening , I’m out of touch. I haven’t read enough yet to know what happened, but I’m glad you haven’t been banned Whitewavemark2, you would be sorely missed.

I have a low opinion of those who report without saying they have done so and why, I think it’s cowardly, and it’s far better to tell somebody they have transgressed the guidelines so that they can apologise if they have.

Casdon I couldn't agree more. I have reported many times, but it has been someone trying to sell Vagra or whatever.

I was suspended a few years ago, but it was with Kittylester Phoenix, Rosie's maw and at least one other.

You will have to email Gransnet about it.If enough posters do that then it may happen, but doubt they will look on here.
I can’t as I don’t know anything about GSM.It will depend on why a poster was banned, I don’t even know the criteria for that.

I had quite a few spectacular disagreements with GSM, I really really liked her. I will email.

Only the moderators can delete posts and ban posters. They don’t check threads, or rarely I should think, but rely on GN members to report anything such as racism and antisemitism plus any personal attacks , rather than indulge in back and forth spats that spoil a thread.So it does have a place.
