Yes, we need lighter moments, helps relieve the more negative bits.
So in keeping with the other funeral tales, here's another one:
A chap I used to work with had previously worked at an institution, and one of the residents there had sadly died. The chap and his colleagues had wheeled the trolley with the body on (suitably encased in whatever was used by the institution for these instances), and had wheeled the trolley outside for it to be collected by the undertaker. This being done after dark so that the transport of the deceased was less apparent to the other residents. However, the path was at the top of a slope, and someone had forgotten to put the brake on....
Cue something out of a TV comedy apparently, with staff chasing the trolley downhill, and luckily apprehending the trolley before a serious mishap occurred such as it overturning and depositing the passenger on the ground.
This is not my first hand experience, just a tale related to me by a colleague so possibly a pinch of salt might be appropriate, but made me laugh!
