in alliterative terms-that is .
Posted before I'd finished .
I must add that -
I don't approve of their past behaviour !

Galaxy

Is it only to do with Epstein?, there are now revelations about his link to the China spy thing, I would imagine more on that will unfold.

He's a liability.

The whole thing is so sad if not tragic .
Looking back -the World was an oyster for sexy handsome Prince Andrew and his fun loving easy going wife Sarah .
Every article about him mentioned the disgraced Duke and now I wonder how they will describe him alliterative terms as he's only a Prince .

Yes, well done, King Charles.

Yes Curlywirly indeed. He wouldn't have liked that as he seems like a pompous, entitled, piece of work!

Anniebach Fri 17-Oct-25 20:14:38

It was the press which started “her favourite child”, yet Edward who waited for the title Duke of Edinburgh seemed very close to his. Parents . It all started with Lord Porchester

Better late than never Ilovedogs.

He's done the right thing.

He was probably told to do the right thing!

The timing of this is interesting. Could it be that Andrew (and the King) are expecting more unsavoury revelations to be revealed in Virginia Guiffre's book launch on Tuesday?

I’ve never understood why the late Queen, who was such a thoroughly decent person, seemed to adore Andrew so much when Edward is so nice confused.

Me neither, Maybee!
Although I'm sure she loved Edward too, the little 'afterthought' is always special 😀

Well, he's done the right thing at last, although I think Charles probably put the pressure on him.
Well done, Charles.

Is he not a (slimy) “real friend and associate of Epstein then”. It just shows that presumed high birth doesn’t stop you being an odious person that most decent people wouldn’t want to be associated with.

As for the Duchess of York, now plain Sarah how far has one of the worst hangers on fallen.

It’s their daughters I feel sorry for, they seem a lot more decent and discreet

Smileless2012 Fri 17-Oct-25 20:00:20

He's done the right thing.

Wouldn’t you think he would just move quietly to Frogmore Cottage and keep his head down?

He would still have a lovely, private, secluded home that most people would give their eye teeth for, no doubt all bills paid for by the King as a sop to getting him to move out of Royal Lodge.

And still enough space for Fergie and the late Queen’s inherited dogs.

eazybee Fri 17-Oct-25 19:56:11

Perhaps the spotlight will shift from them and settle on the real friends and associates of Epstein in America.

Pantglas2 Fri 17-Oct-25 19:54:24

He was born Prince Andrew so that stays and he’ll now go quietly - good.

Not sure how giving up the title helps anybody🤔

Anything that pricks their vain and arrogant bubble is fine by me.

Now the King needs to find a way of getting them out of Royal Lodge.

Will he continue to be a Counsellor of State?

That's rum list, if ever there was one.

ferry23 Fri 17-Oct-25 19:13:44

Following the accusations earlier this week, Prince Andrew has relinquished his title Duke of York. Same for his ex-wife.

He will still keep his title of Prince Andrew.

But I guess that's the end of the titled road for Fergie.
