Perhaps the spotlight will shift from them and settle on the real friends and associates of Epstein in America.

Wouldn’t you think he would just move quietly to Frogmore Cottage and keep his head down?

He would still have a lovely, private, secluded home that most people would give their eye teeth for, no doubt all bills paid for by the King as a sop to getting him to move out of Royal Lodge.

And still enough space for Fergie and the late Queen’s inherited dogs.

It’s their daughters I feel sorry for, they seem a lot more decent and discreet
