She did say her father had abused her and had taken hush money off Epstein
The Lebanon to be heavily bombed
Good Morning Tuesday 26th May 2026
Following the accusations earlier this week, Prince Andrew has relinquished his title Duke of York. Same for his ex-wife.
He will still keep his title of Prince Andrew.
But I guess that's the end of the titled road for Fergie.

On a side note, I've just read a post on Twitter about an aide to an American state governor being sentenced for 'engaging in sex' with a six-year-old - yes, a six-year-old. That's rape by anyone's standards - and I wish press reports would make that clear.
I assume there was no penetration, so not rape.
Why would you assume that?
From reading the news reports.
The "engaging in sex" charge does not include penetration (rape).
Whether we agree or not, there is a legal definition of rape and press reports reflect that so ViceVersa is wrong to criticise the press.
In the same court case there was another charged including penetration (rape) and it was reported as such.

*Old Frill* it was a family friend and not her father who allegedly abused her.
Guiffre claims in her book that her father and another family member abused her.

Isn’t it odd that this prime minister was never held to account?
That will be up to the country that prime minister comes from. It’s widely reported which country it is ronib, you can find out via Google. The UK can only be responsible for its own citizens.

Mollygo Giuffre did escape from Epstein after one particularly scary session with a prime minister and went on to marry and have 3 children….
There was more than one "session" with that person

I tried to find out what happened to Virginia Giuffre’s mother but hit a brick wall. I find it shocking that Virginia couldn’t get help from her parents to extract herself from Epstein. Is Giuffre’s mother alive?
Virginia Guiffre 's father wasn't the only family member to abuse her, so she'd hardly be looking for his support.
This list is from the official rape gang enquiry fancythat. I'm glad there will be no more cover ups and a light will be shone on this disgusting abuse.

But that's like saying you hope that women abused by their partners should not stay living with them.
Looks simple from the outside.
It does look simple from the outside.
It never has been simple with a married partner, especially if you turned to the church for help, and the priest repeatedly sent you back home to your abuser and gave him acts of contrition to carry out!
Outside marriage? Parents, even if they do know about the abuse, can’t protect their children if they don’t want protection.
As Welbeck says,
A person who had that mindset and confidence to simply extricate themselves at the first sign of lack of respect or coercion are not the people caught in that situation.
Which is why I expressed my hope for one impact of Giuffre’s book to act as a warning that even the kudos of entertaining the wealthy will not protect you from how that entertainment might harm you.
welbeck but Giuffre did escape from Epstein after a particularly scary session with an unknown prime minister. She went on to marry and produced 3 children. She did escape from this position in one sense.
Whereever you got that list from, I assume it will be taken down by data protection soon.
I've just read list of 85 places in the UK where grooming gangs have been abusing young girls. The only difference between them and Epstein's gang is money. The UK gangs are almost universally of Pakistani/Muslim background. Personally, I'm more shocked by this than the exploits of a discredited prince.
A person who had that mindset and confidence to simply extricate themselves at the first sign of lack of respect or coercion are not the people caught in that situation.
The experience of abuse is very wearing and erodes self confidence and clear thinking.
It's easy to tell other people what they should do.
But most of us
fortunately
do not know what we are talking about.
Literally.
But that's like saying you hope that women abused by their partners should not stay living with them.

Hope all of the other Epstein abusers get an equally deserved amount of scrutiny and 'punishment ' when their names are revealed.
Andrew certainly deserves all that has come to him.
Definitely!
They must be 💩 themselves for fear that they will be next for the exposé.
I also hope desperately that young women everywhere are learning from this and from Giuffre’s book.
Learning that grooming can happen even amongst the wealthy and certainly, not to trust or return to someone who has sexually assaulted you once.
I’m not sure the settlement was to buy silence. It seems VG agreed to keep quiet during the Queen’s Jubilee. She’d found her voice and was driven to speak out, raising the profile of survivors like herself whose childhoods left them open to organised abuse. She was probably always in emotional turmoil and whilst seeking attention, living in the spotlight , being accused of lying must have taken a dreadful toll.

What reason for 12 million ?
To buy her silence.
The money was paid to Giuffre after she brought a civil case against Andrew in New York, alleging he sexually assaulted her on three occasions when she was 17. Andrew, who has always denied Giuffre's claims, accepted no liability, but agreed to settle out of court.
Didn’t buy silence

Is it right to do a pile on the daughters? Do they not have enough to cope with?
I don't think so either.
If the girls went for a holiday there, I expect everything seemed quite normal when they were there, no sign of anything untoward.
Im no supporter of Prince Andrew. I’m so disinterested that my knowledge of Sarah Ferguson is almost wholly gained from GN.
The PA/JE business is sickening, even more so because it wasn’t just those two who were involved. Other men, so far unnamed were ‘enjoying’ the young women supplied and possibly still are, in different places.

I only saw that one headline Iam , thought it unusual it wasn’t shouted loudly
