Not only people who live near Cribbs Causeway shop there. It's a large out-of-town shopping complex.

Anyway, the post was irrelevant as the JL advert hadn't been released anyway and that one was fake.

John Lewis ad has right idea but hopeless song. The music is as important as the message and should strike a chord with the viewer. Did anyone recognise the song they used to take dad down memory lane?
Like the fact it centred on giving from men.

I'm not liking this year's John Lewis offering. Mind you, their adverts have been going downhill for a few years.

Amazon have had the best. I love last years which I've seen a few times. Wondering if they've decided against doing one this year.

I used to like the way John Lewis always held their advert back until after Remembrance Day. Not any more, it seems.

As usual it will divide the crowd, but I love it.

I think they all be banned from being shown on TV until the beginning of December or even later if possible.

Hate all the false, tacky, cheesy stuff they churn up.

Not exactly the spirit of Peace and Goodwill to all men.

I’ve seen the Amazon ad several times this evening, the one with the three older ladies tobogganing down a hill with cushions inside the toboggans. It always makes me laugh - it could be me with a couple of friends!!

It's the 3rd of November and so far this evening I've seen four Christmas TV adverts! I'm now sick of it and we've a few weeks to go! I hate the whole Christmas thing and this compounds my loathing of it even more! Just stop foisting it on us! I don't bloody care what M&S, Asda and Sainsbury's have in their shops!!

Does anybody remember the Sainsbury's Christmas advertisement for 2014? I found it tacky and disrespectful to those who died in WW1.

Some of the stores in U.S. have Fall and Christmas decorations out at the same time. On Facebook people are showing their homes decorated for Christmas. You can't even enjoy the present season with people in a hurry to go to the next one.
